Percy's P.O.V

My head throbbed and my limbs felt heavy. I cracked my eye open. I was in some sort of lab. Many people were on stretchers, being healed. It took me a moment to remember where I was. Then it hit me. Loki, Catherine, escaping. I suddenly became aware of someone sitting next to my bed.

"Hazel?" I asked croakily. She lifted her head and I saw her puffy eyes and tear streaked face.

"Percy, thank gods! We thought that you might not make it." She said through sobs. Then she tackled me in a huge bear hug.

"Can't...breath." I managed to choke out.

"Sorry, sorry." She apologised.

"It's fine."

"No it's not, I acted like a total jerk! I should've listened to you and not trusted Luke!" She sobbed quietly. I sat up, leaned over and hugged her. She froze in surprise and shock before hugging me back. Loki walked in, holding a glass of water.

"Oh good, you're awake and you've made peace with Hazel." He said and handed me the glass. I gulped it down, feeling better already.

"How... How many are dead?" I asked.

"Almost twenty." Loki said sadly.

"More than half are injured." I closed my eyes and leaned back. They're dead. Dead because of me. As if reading my thoughts, Loki said,

"It's not your fault. They decided to come rescue you, you didn't."

"He's right." Hazel agreed.

"Are we in Stark Tower?" I asked. They both nodded. My eyes widened as I realised something.

"Um, did all the demigods come with you to rescue me?" I asked warily. Loki nodded.

"And are they all here?" I questioned. He nodded again. Hazel's eyes widened as she finally caught on.

"Oh no." She whispered. I quickly jumped out of the bed.

"Go warn all the counselors! Brace everyone for an attack!" I commanded. She quickly ran to warn everyone.

"What? What's going on?" Loki asked.

"Did you really think that two hundred and thirty demigods in a tower basically made from electronics won't attract monsters?" I asked. He paled.

"Come on quickly, we need to-" with a huge crash the windows smashed and monsters came rushing in. Dam. We're too late.
