RECAP: freyja, devland and azalea are now teaming up to find a cure for their curse. Since they are broke teenagers they decided to go on a job to earn some cash. Unfortunately it went wrong and Freyja killed her mom's twin and had a breakdown in the forest. Azalea and devland comforted her. Felix also stalked her. They had an exchange and Freyja gave him the other half of the stone (it has clues to find the cure). After that, fefe royally disappeared and that caused tension in the group. An argument started and turns out devland is the rightful prince to the throne and Osiah (his uncle) murdered his whole family. Freyja, angry she'd been left in the dark, stormed out and decided to fight men to make herself feel better (it worked). However a teenager was following her as she left the bar. It was Lucian, felix's little brother (adopted). Freyja finally learned who Felix was— he was King Osiah's adopted son.

"I hate you, mother," Freyja said.

Part of her hoped that her dead mother could speak back from the grave but alas, it's impossible.

The sun was setting. The sky was a pinkish hue, mixed with blue and sprinkles of white clouds and . Freyja knelt in front of the makeshift gravestone with the withered flowers she'd gotten from the old garden.

"I haven't been here since you...died— and I know you made me promise to grieve you after I found the cure, but I couldn't. I couldn't just shove you in the back of my head and begin a journey that you made me go on." Freyja sighed. "You must be wondering why I'm here. Or why I haven't come before now...Well, the reason is that I've decided to...move on. I shouldn't blame anyone for your death—not Felix, not me, not even you."

"You know, I've spent all this time blaming myself for your death—I mean, I caused it but you asked me to do it. And I understand why you asked that. But it wasn't fair, mother. You asked your child to kill you. It's...cruel. Why? There must've been another way."

Freyja sat in silence for a few minutes.

"Why did you never mention that there was a cure when I grew up? Why? Do you know what it was like to live each day with no dream, no hope for the future? All my life, you told me that I was a menace. You made me believe I couldn't have a future. Mother, I was unhappy— I've been unhappy in my life for as long as I can remember. I had...so... so much pent up anger. My childhood was a nightmare." Freyja chuckled bitterly to herself. "It's no wonder I'm messed up. Skies, everyone lies, everyone leaves— including you, mother. Including every damn person!"

"Zarra, Winn, you, fake Lydia, Devland, Azalea...All a bunch of lying frogs. I feel betrayed by everyone. Especially you! You, mother. You lie and you lie and you lie. When Zara and Winn left, you lied to me for a month. You let me believe they were coming back. But they left me, abandoned us to start a better life. You left me too, mother. You left me all alone in a world where I can trust no one..."

Freyja exhaled deeply.

"You're dead...and I'll never see you again." Her voice broke. "I'll forever miss you. Despite all of it, you were there when I needed you. And I suppose you did some things— things I shall never understand— to protect me. We were thrown into an impossible situation. And I know you did your best to try to be a good mother. I've made my peace with your passing. I hold no ounce of grudge towards you, mother...I love you."

Freyja placed her flowers on the grave. She wiped her wet cheeks with the back of her palms and threw a final look at her old house, her old garden and to the grave.

"Goodbye," Freyka whispered, walking away, tears nearly spilling over.
