Chapter 9 Mission Kid from the Future

The Justice league academy there was much to do. So far there are ten students currently at the academy and they were all learning to be heroes of tomorrow who will do the Justice league when the time comes.

They were doing some training and had finished and now had some time off.

They went on the town out of costume to enjoy themselves. "Okay guys what should we do first?" Hannah asked.

"I don't know but we have a chance to have fun and enjoy it," Terry said.

"We sure do," Kara said.

"Yes," Rex said.

"Well let's do shopping we each go into stores that one of us wants to go into and enjoy ourselves." M'gan said.

They started to look around when there was a bright flash outside. "What was that?" Hannah asked.

"I don't know let's go check it out," Kara said.

They headed out there and the bright flash died down and a boy appeared and he collapsed. There was a little robot with him. "Where did he come from?" Hannah asked.

"I don't know," Rex said.

"We should take him back to the academy and have uncle J'onn take a look at him, he could be hurt," M'gan said.

"What about this little robot?" Kara said grabbing it.

"Hey let me go," the robot said.

"Let's take him too," Hannah said.

They headed back to academy Terry carried the boy on his back and Rex carried his backpack.

Once back at the Academy J'onn took a look. "He doesn't seem hurt," he told them.

"That's good," Kara said.

The boy woke and was shocked. "Where am I? Who are all of you? How did I get here?" he asked.

"Okay 1.) This the Justice League Academy in Metropolis. 2.) I am the Martian Manhunter and this is Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Batman, Catwoman, Wonder woman, and Superman the teacher of this school. This is Kara, Terry, Rex, M'gan, Garth, and Hannah our students here. 3.) the students brought you here when they found you passed out," J'onn said.

"Whoa, this can't be Metropolis, it looks like it did in history cubes," the boy said. "Wait where's Skeets?" he asked.

"Skeets?" Hannah asked.

"My little robot friend," the boy said.

"I am over here," Skeets said coming in. The boy hugged Skeets.

"Buddy if anything happened to you I don't know what I'd do," the boy said. "I am Michael John Carter," he said. "Hey Skeets that was a time machine that guy pushed us into right?" Michael asked.

"Yes," Skeets said.

"What year is it?" Michael asked.

"2024," Terry told him.

"2024?!" Michael asked shocked. "That means I am now longer in 2455, we have jumped backwards 431 years into the past." he said.

"Hang on fella you are saying you are from future?" Aqualad said.

"Yes I am," Michael said. "You guys must be heroes I love heroes, I always wanted to be someone who could help people like you do," he said.

"Hey what is this?" Kara saw pulling out a suite and things from Michael's bag.

"Hey don't snoop through my stuff." Michael said. "I invented these things, a special suite made from a special fabric I invented it is stab proof, bullet proof, enhances strength, speed and endurance, these tools I made are energy blasters with a variety of settings from stun to knock people silly to more destructive ones to knock things down, a force field projector for protection, a ring I made for flight, googles to see in many kinds of conditions, and special power cells I created to power all of it, I also made Skeets to be a companion and helper." he said.

"Hard to believe you did all that," Terry said.

"It's true Michael is a boy genius in his time period," Skeets said. "I started recording everything with or without him since the day he made me," he said.

"They are telling the truth," M'gan said she was great lie detector.

"How am I suppose to get back home my parents have got to be worried sick about now, dealing with bullies and everything and now I am in the past." Michael said. "What am I supposed to do?" he asked.

"Don't worry we will figure something out to help you," Wonder Woman said.

"Hey how about you put on the suite and train with us?" Hannah said.

"I never tried it out myself I only seen what it can do on test bots but I guess I can try it out," Michael said.

"Great then suit up and we will take you to the sim training room," Kara said.

Everyone suited up and got ready to go. They saw Michael come out of your training room. "Looks good on you," Wild Heart said.

"Thanks, and it is more comfortable than I thought it would be," Michael said.

So they started to train together and Michael's suit and gizmos were a big help. "Good work you were a big help in that sim," Aqualad said.

"Well I was glad I could help," Michael said.

Then the alarm went off. They all ran to see what was going on. "Students this is very important, some crooks have been on a jewelry store robbery spree and we need you to stop them and we hope you can handle it," Superman said. "Michael you can help if you want after seeing what you did in the sim," he said. Michael agreed to go with them

So they went out to help stop the robbers. They ran out and were a help. "Hey there is a new hero from the academy. He is amazing," one person said as Michael was helping.

"He is like a Booster," one person said.

"His uniform is gold as his the way he helps," another person said.

They managed to save the day and recover the jewelry. "What is your name new hero student?" one of the reporters asked. Michael remembered what the people said being like a booster and the gold color of his suite.

"Call me Booster Gold, one who came from the future to the past by accident and decided to help others." Michael said.

"There you have it folks a young man who came from the future now a hero meet Booster Gold." the news man said.

They made it back. "You did good kid," Batman said.

"So you thinking of staying and learning to be a hero until we find out how to get you back to the future?" Superman asked.

"I would like that, from now on I am more than Michael John Carter I am Booster Gold." Michael said.

"That's so cool," Skeets said.

"Skeets we are going to be here a while so we might as well get used to it buddy," Michael said.

"Yes and we will learn as much as we can and hopefully put all this to good use some day in the future." Skeets said.

Now things were more exciting at the academy now that new hero Michael John Carter or Booster Gold was now apart of the Academy.
