Chapter 8 Shining Knight wins Wild heart

Life was pretty normal at the Justice league Academy. The students would often write their folks if the didn't live nearby. Or even call them on the phone. It was part of everyday life there. Justin was still learning about every day modern life.

He was sharing a room with Greg. They got a long quite well. 

They went out to have some fun because it was one of those days without much to do but be teenagers. There was a lot to do in town.

"Okay guys what should we do?" Justin asked.

"I am not sure, how about we go to the movies or something?" Hannah asked.

"That sounds cool," Terry said.

"There is much to do around here how about we go to the mall," Greg said.

"Or we can do horse riding," Justin said.

"None of us are much of horse riders, except for you, Greg and Hannah," Garth said.

"Come on riding horses is fun," Hannah said.

"Yes it is fun," Greg said.

"Yes being one with your horse it is amazing," Justin said.

They started to do a few things and Justin noticed he was next to Hannah. They reached for something and their hands touched. They noticed and blushed. The two of them really liked each other. They were really good friends.

Justin always did what he could to make Hannah laugh and he knew how to cheer her up. It was very sweet the way he did that. Hannah adored how much he cared about her. She cared about him very much too.

The two them got along great and were the closest of friends.

They soon fell for each other little at time but didn't want to admit it. Today Justin was really going to win her over.

Justin sighed and didn't know whether or not to tell Hannah how he felt.

"You know Justin you should tell her how you feel," Greg said.

"I don't know if I should Greg, I don't know what to say or how to say it," Justin said.

"Justin I know it is hard to admit how you feel to someone, but sooner or later Hannah is going to pick up on your feelings I think," Greg said.

"I am just worried what may happen if I do tell her Greg," Justin said. "I am worried about being rejected by her you know?" he said.

"That is to be expected, but you won't know what will happen unless you try," Greg said.

"But what if she laughs at me and other people laugh at me and the sun explodes," Justin said.

"You do realize that is a worse case scenario." Greg said. "Just find a good time and then you can talk to her," he told her.

"I sure hope you are right," Justin said as they continued to do things with their friends.

They were out when suddenly they saw trouble. "Looks like duty calls," Terry said.

"Yep," Kara said.

They got changed into their super hero outfits. They were now ready to go and went to help. They were eager to do this right.

"Now let's stop those guys," Vigilante said.

They were fighting hard and Wild heart was in trouble. Shining Knight protected her and then freed her stuck foot. "Thank you," Wild heart said.

"No problem," Shining Knight said.

Then they fought watching each other's backs. They managed to stop the bad guys. "Wild heart are you okay?" Shining Knight asked. "Did they hurt you?" he asked.

"I am fine, did they hurt you?" Wild heart asked.

"No I am fine," Shining knight said.

Then Wild heart hugged him. He smiled and hugged her back.

They made it back to the school and got their minor injuries treated. Justin had a few bumps scrapes and bruises as did Hannah who also sprained her ankle. "Thank you again for protecting me," Hannah said.

"No problem I couldn't just stand by and watch you get hurt," Justin said. "I had to help," he said.

"You are very sweet," Hannah said.

"Thanks, I think you are sweet too," Justin said.

"Oh thank you," Hannah said.

"Hannah there is something I had been wanting to tell you for a while," Justin said.

"Oh what is it?" Hannah asked.

"Hannah I love you," Justin said and then looked shocked he admitted his feelings and then waited for rejection. But instead Hannah sat next too him and took his hand.

"I love you too," Hannah said. They leaned against each other and smiled.

Vigilante noticed and smiled. He was glad Justin was able to admit his feelings and things had gone well for him. It was such a relief and looking well for his friend.

"What are you looking at?" Terry asked.

"See for yourself," Greg said. "Hannah and Justin made a love connection," he said.

"That's great," Kara said.

"That is great news," Don said.

Now Hannah and Justin were in a relationship and looking forward to future together hopefully.
