Alex and Lexi have been best friends since preschool, Alex and Lexi fought like brother and sister. Alex secretly had a crush on Lexi for the longest time but he was afraid that she wouldn't like him back. Little did Alex know that Lexi had a crush on him as well, Alex and Lexi had all the same classes together, Alex wrote Lexi a note saying "I like you Lexi, I always have since preschool, will you be my girlfriend."
Lexie smiles and writes "I like you too and yes I would love to be your girlfriend!" She passes the note back to Alex and she looks over at him and he's smiling more than she's ever seen him smile.
Now it was the end of the day and Alex and Lexi rode the bus together, As any Teenage girl who self isolated themselves, she usually had her earbuds in but today she didn't, Alex sat beside her and she laid her head on his shoulder, the warmth of the bus and the comfort of his arm around her, protecting her and with that she went off to sleep.
