Elsa's pov
I was having a pleasant dream, in which Jack asked me out, and everything was perfect. But that moment ended when my cruddy alarm clock decided it was time for me to wake up. I rubbed my eyes, and smashed the snooze button.
I took a look in my long mirror, and I had hair crazy enough to wake the dead! So I took a shower, and got ready.
I wore a teal flannel, some skinny jeans, black converse, and a beanie, to top it off. I let my hair fall down on my back, and headed to Anna's room. She woke up, and asked, "why aren't you in your usual queen-looking outfit?"
I chuckled and said, "I don't know, I'm just not feeling it today." She shrugged and replied, "alright, but don't get sick on me." "Okay, okay mom."
I promised and she shooshed me out of her room so she could get dressed. I was greeted downstairs by my mom and dad sitting at the table, pre-made breakfast already placed.
"Sweetie, we have important news, but we'll wait for when Anna is here."
I could tell it was serious, because number one: mom and dad are almost never home, and two: they made us breakfast. I think that they hoped to ease us with eggs and toast.
Anna came downstairs, curious by the silence, and asked, "what's wrong guys?" Mom gestured to her left, and dad to his right. I sat, my stomach churning.
Dad cleared his throat, and started. "My dears, we are terribly sorry about this, but we'll be moving after school ends." I sat there for a solid minute, mouth wide open.
"But-but, that'll mean we have to start over, at our new school. We've lived here for most of me and Anna's lives, you can't do this! This is where my heart lies. I've been in love with this place, ever since we moved here. And now, you want to strip us of our memories from here, and start over new, like that's okay?" I yelled, and dad looked like he wasn't surprised at what I did.
"Listen, Elsa-" he started, but just walked up to my room, boiling with fury. I slammed the door, probably loud enough for Jack to here, but I didn't care. Great! Perfect way to start off the weekend. I thought to myself, and heard someone step onto my balcony.
"Hey, what's wrong? I heard you slam the door." He looked concerned, but I knew he hid his face behind many masks. I waved it off, and said, "its nothing. Just-um girl problems! Yeah, its girl problems."
He probably didn't buy it, I thought, and he just looked at me. "Well, how did your Saturday go? Mine went swell!" I caught Jack out of the corner of my eye, just looking at me.
I continued to make my bed, then say, "Stop staring at me Jack." He was startled, and looked away, blushing furiously. I stopped and looked at him, smiling and looking at the picture we took the first day of school together.
"You still have this picture?" I nodded, and he put the picture back on my desk. "Yeah, that's very important to me." He smiled, and hugged me. "I'm sorry Els." "For what?" I was startled at his change of face. "For being a total jerk, and ignoring you all summer."
I hugged tighter, and said, "its okay." He released me, and had a smirk on that face. "Now, tell me, why are you aggravated?" I rolled my eyes, and started. "My parents want to move the day me and Anna graduate."
He had a mixture of sadness and anger on his face, and was about to storm out of my room and tell my parents off, but I stopped him.
"Don't, it'll make it worse." He nodded, and grabbed my hand. "We can run away, you know. Run away from all your problems, and have a nice life." It felt promising, but I couldn't leave Anna, and he couldn't leave Emma, his sister.
"I can't, who will take care of Anna? And besides, you have Emma to take care of, and a girlfriend. What would Punzie think?" I took my hand away, and he sighed.
"I don't know. I just don't feel the love between me and her anymore." I rubbed his back, and sat down on my canopy bed. We just looked into eachother's eyes, and the moment was perfect.
He started to lean in, as did I. We were inches away from eachother, then, the moment was ruined by Anna bursting into my room. "Elsa! I have a question: where is your phone charger?"
I groaned, and pointed to my extension cord in the corner. She literally lunged for it, and raced out. Jack cleared his throat to break the awkwardness, and said, "I should go now." He stepped onto my balcony, and went to his balcony by the bridge we made.
I sighed, and sprawled out on my bed. I was sad, and angry at the same time. I was mad that we had to leave, and mad at my parents for making this rash decision. I put on my pajama's, and went to bed, crying myself to sleep.
A/N: heyo my fellow fab snowgies! I'm finally updating. But please don't expect me to update a lot, because school's is almost over and we have so many tests to talk, and plus, I have a science project and a book review. I promise to update the big eight in highschool very soon, and I'm sorry to keep you guys waiting. But on the bright side, summer is almost here! Hurrah! *throws confetti* welp, that's all!
