                        THE PARTY

Saturday came and it was time for me to go. I even almost forgot what I was supposed to wear due to my excitement but I also remembered it later on. I stare at myself on the mirror one last time before finally going downstairs. Mom and dad were watching TV while eating popcorn.

"I'm leaving." I said as I made my way to the door.

"Okay honey, get home safely, okay?" mom said without giving me a glance. Dad didn't said anything that mom immediately cleared her throat to signaled him. Dad then looked at me.

"Be careful" He said before switching back his attention to the movie they're watching.

"I will, goodbye" I replied. I open the door and walked off after locking it from the inside.

Adrianna's house was just only a few blocks away from ours so it wasn't hard getting there on foot. A smile crept to my face as I remembered bicycling in the neighborhood. I wonder if this village has for rented bicycles because I would love to ride one again. After all, it's been awhile ever since. Maybe I should go and ask Adrianna. I thought as I looked up the night sky.

The moon was shining so bright that it helped me to see the road much more clearly as well as the thousands of stars on the night sky. Although there were lights on the side of the road, it didn't help me as much as the moon did because the other lights were flickering.

I finally arrived in front of Adrianna's house. It was quiet from the outside but as I stood in front of the front door, I can hear the low sound of music playing on as well as the chattering voice of people inside.

I began to feel nervous as I stood straight in front of the door. When I finally gathered the enough courage I needed I knocked for a good two times before someone opened it. It was a girl whom I don't recognize. She's wearing a crop top that says "Kiss Me" and a black chick skirt while her hair was short and relaxed. She had a thick make-up on her face that made her look outstanding. I wonder if I could also do that make-up stuff, not to mention I only know how to use lip balm but still failed at it.

"Is Adrianna home?" I asked with politeness. The girl scanned me up and down while chewing a bubble gum before releasing a sigh.

"She's not-

"Hey, you made it!" I heard Adriana said before gently pushing away the girl who opened the door for me. She was wearing a yellow dress and a light make up on.

"Yes, I know right." I replied with a smile plastered on my face.

"I'm so glad you came. Come, let's go have some fun." Adrianna said excitedly before dragging me inside her house.

                                                                                               ❤

I was left standing in front of the refrigerator while holding a cup of juice when Adrianna just vanished into the crowd of teenagers.

I started to debate on whether I should go and look for her or stand her like an idiot. I don't know maybe I should just go and look for her. I thought. I took a sip on my cup of juice before placing it on the counter where the other cups are and started walking to the living room.

I' am currently searching for Adrianna's presence in the room and due to her long blonde curly hair and pale skin she's not hard to find. But, seeing no one in this place has that look I might as well search at the backyard. Just when I was about to turn around I suddenly hit someone else's chest.

"Ah."

"Hey." Both of use said at the same time. I looked at the person I accidentally bumped into and saw a guy around my age.
