GMG-Preliminaries

Lucy's POV

"Natsu-kun, are you alright?" Wendy asked Natsu, who was slouching down the train's seat, trying not to barf.

"Y-yeah, umpph. I-I'm fine." He said as he covered his mouth. I chuckled silently at his state. 'Good thing I'm invulnerable to that. Perks of being a Wind Dragon Slayer.' I thought.

I asked Erza if we could exchange swats since she was beside Natsu and she agreed. I sat down beside him and put his head on my lap as I chanted

'TROIA'

His previously green face returned to its original color.

"Thanks, Luce!" He grinned and I replied with a smile.

A couple of minutes later, we arrived at our destination-Crocus. "Grand Magic Games, here we come!!!" Natsu shouted hyperly as he ran to the Domus Flau, the place where the GMG will be held.

We ran after him to see the arena. "Wow! This place never gets old." Lisanna said in awe. "It still looks good!"

"Guys, we have to go to our inn already. We might get disqualified if we're going to be late." Erza reminded. Oh, right! I-we almost forgot!

As we walked to the inn we were going to stay at, I couldn't help but get this weird feeling that somebody is following us. I looked around but saw no one. "Lucy, is something wrong?" Gray asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. The others stopped walking and looked at me.

"I-uhh. N-nothing. It's nothing." They shrugged and continued walking. Taking a last glance behind me, I saw a shadow of a person in one of the alleyways. I didn't mind it and followed my friends. 'Must be the citizens.' I thought to keep myself calm.

As the night came, we settled in our room waiting for the Preliminaries to begin. I looked at the clock hanging by the door.

11:55:47 pm

I got up from my bed and sat down. "We should be getting ready." I said, catching their attention. "We only have five minutes left before it starts." They nodded and we got the things we need for the Preliminaries.

After I fixed my things, I stared at the clock.

11:59:50 pm

I turned my head to the others. They were all ready.

The coundown starts.

We positioned ourselves infront of the window.

"Good evening, everyone!" Mato greeted as we felt the ground shake and in an instant, we were transported to a dark labyrinth. "This years Preliminary Round is going to be quite hard for others but pretty easy for some. You and your teammates have to answer all the riddles in the labyrinth. You must be able to reach the end before your 3 lives are all used up or else...bye-bye, GMG for you! Well then, let the games BEGIN!!!" Mato's voice faded away.

Natsu lit up his hand to give us some light. We walked straight until we were stopped on our tracks by a wall. "A dead end." Erza whispered, brushing her hand on the wall.
