Your time to shine. You pick up the script from your bedside table putting it in your bag. Looking at the time you leave your room grabbing your keys "Dustin I'm leaving!" You yell grabbing a pop tart. "30 seconds!" He yells at you. A knock is heard at the door putting your food down you walk over to the door "Eddie? What are you doing here?" He wipes a crumb off your cheek "I was driving to school and wanted to give you this" he hands you a box. "What is it?" You shake it. "Don't worry y/n it's not alive" he chuckles. Opening the box you see it's a Hellfire shirt "oh wow thank you"
"It's a new one don't worry" you laugh "I wasn't worried about that Munson but thank you again" you give Eddie a soft smile "I gotta go before Dustin comes out but see you at school and there is a note don't forget to read it." He walks off back to his van driving off you grab the note from under the shirt putting it in your bag with the shirt in the box. "Who was that?" Dustin sneaks up behind you. "Oh shit, you scared me. It was just the mail man I got a package from an old friend. Anyway let's get going I have something to do early at school"
"Okay..." he runs out to your car.
*At school*
Dustin gets out running to the entrance. You go in not too far behind him. Taking a deep breath you walk into the auditorium. "Y/n! Thank you for coming so early. Are you ready to audition?" the teacher says. You step into the center of the stage. "As ready as I'll ever be." "Don't worry you'll do great just start whenever you are ready"
*Eddie POV*
"No, swear I left it here that's where I last saw it." Eddie and Mike walk backstage where they normally play D&D at. " Isn't that y/n?" Mike points at you. "Shit it is!" Eddie and Mike hide behind the curtain. They hear you start to sing Freddy, my love. You sing this beautiful melody as Eddie and Mike listen "So this is what she has been reading with that little book of hers" Eddie whispers "We need to get out of here" Mike Whispers back "First we gotta find my missing dice." Mike looks around walking over to a cabinet "Eddie right here! Now let's go!" Mike is showing Eddie the dice. Eddie looks back at Mike but is mesmerized by your voice. He gives you one last look and then walks out with Mike. "She is really talented she definitely lives up to that nickname New York" Eddie has a little grin on his face "She is definitely something else, very special" Mike stands in front of Eddie "You like her don't you?"
"What?" Eddie stammers "Oh yeah because you definitely didn't get jealous when Steve dropped her off. Dustin wouldn't like you guys together. He wouldn't want anyone he is related to date one of his friends." Mike stands his ground "I was not. Y/n is her own person. She's a big girl and can choose what she wants to do. What makes you think Dustin won't like me dating her I would be a great in-law" Mike rolls his eyes "Dustin just can be protectively and I thought Dustin said she had a boyfriend"
"Yeah, I doubt she would date someone long distance no offense we are just older than you and your girl. And how would Steve would be better for her?" Mike shrugs "I don't know." Eddie pats him on the shoulder "Y/n will decide for herself. Anyway, gotta go see you at lunch!" Eddie walks away going to class.
*Y/n POV*
You walk out of your Audition, opening your bag you find the note Eddie gave you
Y/n a promise is a promise but first I'm genuinely excited that you enjoyed D&D. I take it you're not a skip school type of person considering that you've had your head in that same little book you've carried since you've gotten to Hawkins. So IF you are up for it how about lunch? Today? If that is a yes behind the football field behind the school there is a forest I promise it isn't that scary just walk a little you'll see a picnic table meet you there?

The note was cute you fold the note back up putting it back in your bag. You walk into your class seeing Eddie already in his seat you sit in front of him getting your notebook and pencils out.
Eddie taps you on the shoulder "Can I borrow a pencil." You hand him one "Please don't bite on it" Eddie laughs then taps your shoulder again "Also paper" You hand him a few pieces "Munson you really should bring your own supplies" a few minutes pass a piece of folded paper falls over your shoulder. You open it so lunch is still on? you write back on it yes discretely passing it back to Eddie. The paper is passed over your shoulder again By the way you have a lovely voice :). "HOW" you cover your mouth looking down. "Sorry that was me I was just wanting to hear how to do that again ma'am" Eddie covers for you. Writing back Thank you throwing the paper behind you as the bell rings you exit the class as fast as you can.
