7.Welcome to Family Video

You ride your bike over to Family Video walking through the front door. "Hey, Robin!"

"Y/n! Welcome to your first day! The job is pretty relaxed. Just get their phone number to enter it here, tell them to bring it back by that date there, get their money and you're good!"

"Well sounds easy."

"Now, we wait till somebody comes through that door that isn't Steve! Hey! You know y/n"

You wave at Steve. "Welcome to the video family y/n!"

Steve puts on his vest "Robin you and go to the school together did you see or hear about that fight with Jason and the freak Eddie?"

You choke on your water as you hear what steve says. "Oh yeah, it happened in the parking lot I was out there as Jason was walking off with his dickhead friends."

"Y/n did you see anything?"

"Ummm Yeah. That was actually about me"

"WHAT!" They say simultaneously

"Well tell us what happened."

"It's because Jason wanted me to join the cheer team and be a part of his little minions I tried to tell him, no but he wanted me to think about it then he saw that Hellfire shirt and called me a freak. Eddie walked up and then punched him and yeah they fought."

"Oh, shit..."

As time goes on you get to know Steve and Robin more learning the ropes and chatting about school before you got into town knowing all the drama you can as your shift comes to an end.

"y/n if you want to stock the movies Jason and his friends are coming up."

"Got it hiding now"

"Welcome to Family Video.ᵃˢˢʰᵒˡᵉˢ"

You make your way around the stands trying to avoid them every time they move around looking for a movie. Your foot gets caught at the end of one stall you trip falling right behind Jason. His hand reaches out to you "Just take it y/n" You take his hand standing up. You look up at his face he has a black eye and a cut on his nose. "I'm sorry about yesterday."

"You're apologizing to me?"

"Listen You're not one of those freaks I know this you know this."

"You don't know me. Just cause you find me pretty doesn't mean you get to have me or you can claim me like I'm some prize at a carnival." He looks visibly pissed "Jason just get over yourself"

"Listen I tried okay?"

"Tried what? To save me from a little Dungeons and Dragons club. Get your movies and go"

Jason and his friends leave the store.

"Damn y/n you put that prick in his place."

"I would have earlier if he didn't freak me out coming up to me out of nowhere."

"I'm now claiming you as my best friend higher than Steve."

"Hey?!"

The door swings open.

"y/n are you ready to go" You turn around "Yeah! let me grab my bag" You put your vest on the hook grabbing your bag. "Robin we will talk later"

"Me too! Steve wants to join in the conversation."

You walk out in front of Eddie he opens the door for you. Eddie gestures to you going into his van.

"Thanks for picking me up Eddie"

"I'd pick you up anytime"

"I already ordered Pizza it should be there a little after we get to my place, Also sorry if it's messy the maid took the week off" You laugh.

"Alright, we are here!" Eddie gets out of the car and rushes to your door to help you out. "What a gentleman."

"I try to be" walking into Eddie's trailer.

"This is cute I also brought some movies as well. Before movies, I wanna see you play guitar."

"Now you're speaking my language y/n" he takes your hand "I would like to introduce you to my sweetheart" He takes the guitar off the wall   

"She is beautiful"

"Now she just needs a beautiful voice to pair with." You blush

"How about we get a little music done and then watch some of these movies I brought and enjoy the night."

"What movies did you bring?"

"I hope you like scary movies I brought The Shining, The Evil Dead, and Footloose."

"Footloose?" Eddie chuckles. "I'm a theater kid Eddie."

"I'm not complaining. Wanna start with the shinning?"

"Depends do you know how to play I Love Rock and Roll"

He nods his head grabbing starting to play.  Your voice and his guitar playing mesh together. He starts to play I Was Made For Loving You. "I love Kiss!"

"You really surprise me every day."

"My dad loves Kiss and I just took his tapes and just kept listening to what he has."  There is a knock at the door.

"I'll grab that you want to put the movie in?"

"I'll get on to that"

You and Eddie enjoy the movie the pizza box sitting on the floor your head leaning into the crevasse of his neck his arm wrapped around your shoulder. Eddie looks down at you he takes both of his hands putting them on the side of your face turning your head slowly towards him leaning into you pressing his lips onto your lips. You wrap your arms around his next kissing him back deeper he falls on top of you he pulls away. "That was amazing Eddie."

"I was hoping you say that."

"You can kiss me any day of the week"

"I'll do just that, um no funny business but would you want to stay the night?"

"Do you have a shirt I can change into?"

"Yeah here take this and you can keep it I promise it's clean and free of blood."
Eddie tosses you a new Hellfire shirt "Bathroom this way?"

"Yeah just get changed get comfortable then we can cuddle and watch the other movies."

You get back after getting changed laying next to Eddie "This night was perfect thank you Eddie" Eddie gives you a peck on the lips cuddling closer to you.
