I walked down the streets of Liyue Harbour, passers-by busting with activity. I saw Aether with Zhongli having tea at a restaurant, sitting opposite each other on and outdoor table. Hey Zhongli, hey Aether. I said standing between them both by the table. Hey Maeve. Aether greeted with his friendly smile. Ive got that crystal quarts you wanted. I said reaching in my shoulder bag handing Aether the material. Oh thanks! he said inspecting the blue crystal. I was going to give them to you tomorrow but Ive got a quest with the Liyue Qixing, for the next four days. I stepped back a little signalling that I was leaving.
Wait what? You didnt tell me this? Zhongli said, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he set his cup down. Zhongli, I do quests all the time with them. But not for that long? Zhongli was now stood up from where he sat. Zhongli. I see you every day, youll be fine without me. I reassured him as he sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. Fine just be careful. He said Aye aye captain. I mocked him before receiving a snigger from Aether and walking away to my quest.

I woke up the next day and expected Maeve to visit me in the morning like she usually does, I was met with this loneliness as the day went on and my mind wouldnt calm down. I dont understand what this is? I questioned my confusing emotions. As I sat alone at dinner at our favourite place to eat. Leg bouncing, hands intertwined on the table. Just you alone tonight, Mr. Zhongli? the waiter asked, as I felt anger boil inside of me by his comment.
By day three I was pacing my house, running my hands though my hair. I knew shed be fine, but she needed to be here, I needed her.
On the last night I lay restless in my double bed, the moonlight shining through my balcony window. Tossing and turning. AGHN! I groaned into my pillow, as my mind shifted and imagined it was her under me instead of my pillow, as my thoughts began to become, forbidden. I knew it was wrong for me to feel like this, dangerous even, I could hurt her, but at this point I didnt care.
I shot up from my bed remembering something I had in my office. I ran down shirtless, my hair down and only wearing grey joggers. I threw open the door to my office and rushed to find it. The loose oversized hoddie she had left at mine. I took it upstairs and sat at the end of my bed, legs parted. I hesitated at first but soon brought the clothing up to my face. I smelled the cloth to be relieved when my nostrils were filled with her scent. I craved her as I pushed my face against her hoodie. I pulled away as I felt my eyes well with tears as I gripped harder on the fabric falling back in a puddle of my own emotions. As I eventually fell asleep.
I woke from the sun blinding my face as I turned over, my bare back facing the sun, when I heard footsteps on the stoned pathway outside my house.

The quest went perfectly and I was now making my way to Zhonglis house. My feet hitting the stones underneath me as I neared his home. As I stepped on the wooden porch, the front door swung open as Zhongli stood there, barefoot only in his joggers. Bare chested and toned tall figure. His hair thats usually in a ponytail, was down falling over his shoulders. My mouth opened slightly but before I could greet him and questioned why he was in his pyjamas at 2pm. But he pulled me into his house and swung his arms around me pulling me into a tight hug, burring his face in my shoulder. I hesitated but hugged him back. Zhongli how have you be-. I was cut off with his shutting the front door and slamming me against it harder than he probably intended making me yell out. But also forming butterflies inside my stomach.
His right forearm against the door above me and the other a fist to the right of my face. Do you have any idea of what youre doing to me right now? he painted as my cheeks began to blush. Fuck I want you so bad right now. he groaned letting his head rest on my shoulder again. Then have me. I whispered to him, relaxing and resting my hands on the back of his head.
