•~Amelia's P.O.V~•
"Jenny, no one likes peas but you have to eat," I said, trying to feed seven-month-old Jenny baby food. I'd been trying to feed her a wide variety of baby food so she wouldn't be picky when she was older. Or at least, that's what my mom said to do.

Johnny was at work. I mean, I think he's at work. Lately, he goes out a lot and doesn't tell me where he's going. I wouldn't mind it a whole lot if he spent more time with Jenny, but that wasn't happening.

I heard the door swing open, letting me know that Johnny was back home. I knew he went to work around four-thirty, but it was now the afternoon.

"Hey, Amelia, can I ask you something?" Johnny asked, coming into the kitchen and pulling up a chair so he could sit next to me. I sighed, wiping Jenny's chin with a wet rag.

"Go ahead, Johnny," I said, as Jenny tried to get out of her high chair to get to Johnny.

"Dada, dada!" I unbuckled her from her seat and handed her to Johnny. Johnny smiled at her as he bounced her slightly on his knee.

"It's okay for us to date other people, right?" I gulped, trying to act as if I didn't mind. That the thought of Johnny with someone else romantically made me want to punch the person and vomit at the same time.

"Yeah, why?" I said, screwing on the cap of the baby food.

"So, you wouldn't mind meeting her and bringing Jenny along?" I gulped, wishing that I was dreaming and I'd wake up soon but I knew that wasn't going to happen.

"I...I mean I wouldn't mind but we'd have to figure out when." Johnny smiled.

"You get off work at twelve tomorrow, right?" I nodded. "We could meet at one at the Dairy Queen." He suggested.

"I...sure." He smiled.

"I'm sorry I've not been around much, I've just been with Amber." I nodded.

A part of me always thought that Johnny and I would eventually get together, but another part of me always knew there wasn't a good chance of that happening. I hope that this Amber girl was sweet to Johnny and Jenny and that we'd get along.

"Well, now that I know about her maybe you could bring her around the house and still spend time with Jenny." I only said that to be polite. I didn't want her to be in my house, but I knew it would be rude not to suggest it.

"If she wants, then I'll bring her around." Johnny looked happy, and I hoped he was truly happy with Amber.

I wondered if I should be looking for someone as well, and one person came to mind, but I knew that Johnny wouldn't be as accepting of us as I was with him and Amber.
