My name is Orbit, and I'm glad to have seen you stumble across my story!
This is MADMAX, which as you can guess, revolves around Max Mayfield, my favorite character from the show Stranger Things!
Yes, I know most of the books you've read didn't have an author's note or a boring prologue or whatever...
Well, there's no time like the present!!
Just thought I would start off with a little bit of what this book is about and how I'll be expressing it.
About this book:
- This is basically a rewrite of Stranger Things 2 of what (I believe) would happen if the Mind Flayer, the big baddie of Season 2, would have pursued Max instead of Will Byers!
- This story will contain language, fear, supernatural activity, and some graphic scenes, so please read at your own risk if you wish to continue!
- This story will revolve heavily around Max, hence the title
- There will be some scene cuts here and there as the only things I'm changing is people's interactions with Max and mainly writing scenes about her, Billy, and Susan, as the rest of the story will remain the same. If you think you're missing anything, I recommend you watch Season 2 of Stranger Things to catch up!
- Susan Mayfield, Max's mother, and Billy Hargrove, Max's step-brother, will play major roles in this story along with Max (Neil will not be present, so don't worry)
- I will be changing some titles of the story, as they'll fit better with the storyline
- Chapter 7: The Lost Sister will not be present in this story as that episode only revolves around Eleven's storyline and not Max's nor Will's. Besides that, it's a good episode, but I will not be using it in this story. Sorry!
- I know Billy's already got somewhat of an interesting character in Season 2, but I will be making a few tweaks here and there (NOT A LOT), and he will be there for Max in the end. Hope you still like the story regardless!
- The beginning of Chapter 1 will not start off with Kali and her gang, but instead start off with a rewritten scene of Season 1, Episode 8, where Will is happy to be home. THEN it will shift towards Max's perspective
I believe that's it! I will probably update this as I write more of this story, but regardless, I hope you enjoy this story!
