This takes place when Tris is in the weaponlab, David thinks that Tris is unarmed, but that isn't the truth.
He thinks that I'm unarmed. Ha! He still doesn't know anything from Dauntless, Divergent or not. Of course am I armed. My left hand goes slow to my back, where my gun is. I'm only going to shoot if he's going to shoot, I think by myself. My right hand goes to the bottom.
When David sees this he says: "Don't do that, or I will shoot!"
No, you won't! I think.
I get my gun and say to him: "Let your gun drop! I'm sure I have a better aim than you do! And I will shoot, because I have people who love me and who wait for me!"
David says: "I don't care about that!"
He shoots.
I shoot.
He missed me! And I missed him of course not! The bullet is exactly where I wanted him, in Davids hand so he's unable to shoot, but still lives.
I say to him: "I told you that I was going to shoot, and now I'm going to remove your and everybodys' memory!"
"Please don't! I will do everything you want!" He said while screaming in pain.
"That's now too late David," I said. "Say goodbye to your evil plans!"
"Never!"
"Alright, whatever you want David, goodbye!" And with that I press the bottom and the memory serum does his work.
Now I'm going to the dormity, to sleep and to wait for Tobias. I think that he would know that I'm here.
