That night, Peter showed Caleb his new room. Thankfully he didn't stay and make Caleb wear an Elsa dress or anything like that.

The room was honestly kind of a sick pad. It had a huge bathroom, a TV, a kitchenette, and a walk-in closet. The wardrobe they had provided him wasn't the most stylish, but Caleb could make do with black t-shirts and jeans. Caleb wished he had a computer or at least a Nintendo Switch but he guessed he was kidnapped, after all, so he couldn't expect to have all the comforts of home.

Caleb was tuckered out from the adrenaline of the day, so he found it easy to fall asleep in his new king-sized bed under a goose-down comforter.

In the middle of the night, he awoke to a small hand clasped over his mouth, muffling his startled shout.

"Shhh," a female voice said. "I've come to get you out of here!"

Caleb reached over to turn on a light. There was a young girl with blond hair wearing a bright orange dress and pink high heels leaning over his bed. No, it couldn't be...

"Mary Sue?" he asked.

Mary Sue smiled at him. "You didn't think Benson and I would let you rot here for the rest of your life?"

Caleb let out a sob and wrapped Mary Sue in a tight hug. He didn't know how to express how relieved he was to see a friendly face at last.

Mary Sue patted him on the back. "It's ok," she soothed. "Let's go save Wally and get the two of you back home."

When Caleb got dressed and made a mug of coffee, Mary Sue beckoned him over to the door. She placed her thumb in the center and a green light blinked, indicating that it was unlocked. The door slid open with a hiss.

"Benson was able to put my fingerprints in the system," she explained. "But we only have a few minutes until someone wakes up and realizes that your door was opened." She reached into her dress pocket and pulled out a laser gun, holding it up as she looked down both sides of the hallway. "Alright, the coast is clear."

They snuck around the halls like spies in an action movie. Mary Sue made sure to check all the corners. Caleb made sure not to spill any coffee as he sipped on it.

Finally, they reached a turn in a hall where Mary Sue held up a hand, halting Caleb. He peered around the corner and saw two guards in jumpsuits standing in front of an elevator door. He nodded at Mary Sue and the two of them leaped out.

The guards shouted and reached for their guns. Mary Sue blasted one with her laser and he fell back, unconscious. She turned her gun to the second guard and fired, but the gun clicked and no laser came out.

The guard chuckled evilly and aimed his gun straight at Mary Sue's head.

On instinct, Caleb chucked his coffee mug at the guard and beaned him on the head. The mug shattered and boiling hot coffee exploded everywhere. The guard screamed and clutched at his face, which was surely scarred for life. He fired his gun with the other hand but was unable to aim properly.

The distraction gave Mary Sue the second she needed to reload the laser and shoot him down.

Caleb looked at the puddle of coffee mournfully, already feeling a caffeine headache starting to form at his temples.

"That was incredible!" Mary Sue cried, stepping over the bodies to call the elevator. "You're a natural fighter, just like me."

"Who do you think wrote you?" Caleb chuckled and stepped into the elevator.
