POV Dream
"W-wait!"
He tried to say his hand raised before it fell, a loud sigh escaping the golden guardian as he sat there for a moment
He had been preparing for a whole week for this moment and he lost it by simply opening his mouth hadn't he?
It was going to continue like this if he didn't man up already
'Why can't I just ask him out already... Damn you puppy crush feelings-'
He grumbled rubbing at his glowing face in both embarrassment and anger as he tried to clear his mind
He had many puppy crushes
It wasn't uncommon for him- but this one hit him so deeply for some odd reason or another
It especially sparked up when the other became happy or upset or just had any strong emotion
He couldn't understand these feelings so easily
He thought if he asked the other out and got rejected this time or another then he could get over this dumb puppy crush that was quickly growing in an unpleasant obsession with the lust type skeleton
Being able to just subconsciously seek out to feel the others emotions and check up on them just felt like an invasion of privacy that the guardian just didn't want to ever cross
Even if it was crossed many more times then he would like to admit
"Next time.. next time for sure-"
He muttered softly rubbing at his cheeks as the intrusive thoughts of what if and such kept popping up to fuel the ever growing feelings that where crushing him like the sky itself
POV Lust
He gently rubbed the small cheek bone, cooing softly down at the smaller boney cheek
Thinking of different items and things that he might like to have requested and dropped off by one of the others
Also debating about if he should add any supplies other then what he would need for the Cherry baby just for simple fun or need
Having extra canned goods wasn't a bad item to have after all
Especially since it didn't look like he was going to be leaving the house very much for a long while at the very least
Maybe he could get a baby sitter to watch over his Cherry baby while he worked?
Would that even work?
Most babies don't really start to recognize their care takers until the first few months of their life have passed
But he doesn't really know the age of his Cherry baby, nor does he really know if that even applied to bitty babies
Honestly it was weighing on him how much that this would impact him
Like a real baby
Except this one was smaller then a tiny runt and far more traumatized and fragile
Besides-
What if the others try to take his baby Cherry?
Most don't really see lust monsters as the best for parents even if they know their backstory-
What if the lust he hires gets too attached and he had to share?
Something unnatural boiled in him as he cupped the bitty baby closer,
It was like a snarl in a way, which was completely unusual for him
Never before had he thought that he could make such a sound until this very moment
Even sitting their
Paranoid and stunned as he was-
He settled
Trying to calm the burning at the back of his mind that whispered the possibilities of failure or prospects of having his own taken from his very arms

Lust closed his sockets, taking a breath as everything released with a loud sigh or resignation
"Your gonna make your papa completely paranoid about everything aren't you~"
The skeleton cooed softly,
He had long since settled into the idea of adopting the bitty baby so why not become a paranoid parent who is paranoid about everything?
