Distant but close

A/n imagine writing the whole plot on one page in your notebook....haha...

I glanced at his hand before glancing back at his face. Nothing was to be read about this guy, or nothing I could tell just by looking at him. His eyes held a soulless look in them and his smile seemed tight. I wrung my hands together before gathering my courage and shaking his hand.

Pain. There was so much pain coursing through my body. I could hear my own body screaming and crying out in pain. I fell to the ground barely registering the black spots dancing across my vision. I looked at the skeleton before everything went pitch black.

I opened my eyes, not having enough energy to deal with what had just happened.
"Oh yes Frisk, that's a great idea. Now what will he do? Impale you with spikes?" I scolded myself. Flowey just snickered behind me, muttering something about how he would bet on that happening. I scoffed and looked at my arms before checking my head for any new flowers. A huge one was planted right next to my right  ear. Guess I didn't expect much, half of the my left and back side of my head was now covered in flower, it was similar to a flower crown.

"Why do I even bother making friends with these people." I grumbled, annoyance and exhaustion making itself known in my voice.
"Hey! I'm right here!" Flowey angrily piped in my ear. I chuckled before patting his head.
"Of course not you Flowey, you make this place shine." I reassured him. I grabbed him and hugged him with all my might.
"Ok ok I get it!" Flowey grumbled. I laughed before setting him on my shoulders. I got to the same spot where I met the skeleton. Let's just hope this goes away better than before.

"I have a flower crown that is just about to cover my left eye." I muttered angrily. It didn't not go better. In fact it went way way worse. Flowey just laid a vine on my shoulder in sympathy. ' I'm giving this bag of bones one more try' I thought. I walked the same path until I got to the little bridge and then I waited. And waited. And waited until I couldn't anymore. So I just decided to keep going until I found him. Sitting at a weird stand. As I slowly walked by he opened one eye socket and watched me carefully before closing it again.
"What not going to come get me?" I teased harshly. I seriously was going to get a death wish.
"Nah, not today sweetheart. Maybe later though if your really bored." He winked to me. This man. Flirted with me.
"Oh...ok. Thank you then." I said, still shocked and very confused. I saw him freeze from the corner of my eye.
"...I swear darling, you're too sweet for this place." He chuckled softly. He opened both eyes and slowly got up from his seat.
"But I am curious about those flowers darling. New ones everytime I see you."

"You remember?! How??" I exclaimed.

"Well, yeah, and I'm not exactly sure. But I've answered all your questions, now answer mine."

I hesitated. "Well, I'm not really sure but I do know that the small ones appear when I get hurt and the big ones appear when I die." I quietly said. He remained silent as he studied the flowers atop my head down to the ones sprinkling my arm. After what seemed for a while his eyes finally made contact with mine. That's when I saw it. The  distant but close look in his eyes. I was about to step forward to comfort him but was stopped when he cleared his throat.
"Well, if you don't mind darling, I'll be coming with you on this journey of yours now sweetheart. Just consider me bored" He announced, walking over to me. I froze, and kept repeating what he had said.

"Alright sweetheart lets go." He said, hooking his arm with mine.

"Hey you smiley trashbag, let go of her! You can just think that now all of a sudden we'll like you, just like that!" Flowey yelled, quickly separating us.

"First of, Vines. My name's is Sans, and of course I don't think that but I'll try and get on your good side." Sans said, his smile turning into a displeased frown. The bickering between them increased and I couldn't help but giggle at them both. They both stopped and looked over at me, which caused me to full on laugh.

"Sorry, I shouldn't laugh. But you too-" I tried to talk but couldn't stop laughing. When I finally stopped Flowey was looking slightly less annoyed and Sans was lightly red.

"Sans you're red! Are you ok?" I frantically rushed to him trying to figure what I could do. If anything he turned even redder and start stumbling over his words.

"I- I'm fine! I- I just, uh" Sans stammered, getting even more red than possible.

"Frisk, what don't you give the poor skeleton some room?" Flowey sighed. I nodded and backed up. Sans sighed and straightened out his jacket.

"Sorry." I muttered. Sans just waved it off and started walking toward the path.

"Coming sweetheart?"

A/n yes yes I know, a bit soon but trust me. I'm planning this out perfectly... hopefully. Give me your thoughts on how to make it better.
