Frisks pov:

I opened my eyes and lifted my head and looked around. We weren't near the echo flowers anymore but instead by a river. I blinked softly and put my head down and latched onto Sans tighter. I was freezing. Sans stopped all of a sudden and set me down gently before taking off his coat and handing it too me. I glanced at him and then to the jacket confused.

"Aren't you going to be cold?" I ask concerned. He grinned lazily before handing it to me.

"Nah sweetheart. I'm nothing but bones." He winked at me. Flowey groaned while I giggled. His face grew a red hue and he looked away smiling. I grabbed the jacket from him and put it on, sighing in relief. I snuggled into it deeper and grinned. Sans looked at me with a smile, his eyes holding a look which I didn't recognize. Flowey made himself comfortable in the hood if the jacket and I took that as a cue to start going. I stood up but my legs just buckled underneath me. I barely caught myself in time and looked down at my legs. The amount of flowers had grown and I could barely feel my legs anymore. I started breathing faster until hands gripped my arms and brought me closer until I was wrapped into a hug. Sans kept muttering words in reassurance. I latched onto him and cried silently. He just kept hugging me and reassuring me. Flowey stroked my head. We had stayed there for a long time before I had stopped crying and drifted off. He carried me bridal style and walked forward, but in a way that seemed like be was trying to be as quiet and soft as to not disturb me.

"Sans...I don't think 'nothing' really happened at Papyrus's house." Flowey stated. I felt Sans tense before sighing.

"She said all they did was drink tea, maybe she's just exhausted?" Sans replied, trying to stay hopeful, but his voice was bleak. I didn't have enough energy to try and tell them that I thought something was wrong as well. I felt sleep lull me to sleep and the last thing I felt was Sans grip my hand in a almost lovingly way.

Frisks pov:

The next time I awoke was when we were reaching the end of the river. I didn't move for a while, enjoying the warmth of Sans. I watched as we walked past many flowers and many different types of scenery. We had walked past a statue that had kept getting rained on so I pestered Sans till we had walked back with an umbrella. I put the umbrella right into the crook of it's arms and we stepped back watching it finally stop getting poured on. As if we answered a wish, a soft song poured through the area. We stopped for a while and just listened to it but before we could enjoy it I started to cough hard. I kept coughing and coughing until Sans put me down and I coughed out something warm and metallic onto my hand. I brought out my hand, shaking, to see it covered in blood. I touched my lips and looked at those to see blood coming from it as well. Everything in my body went cold. Sans cursed and wiped my hands off before wrapping the jacket around me.

"You'll be fine sweetheart, I know someone who could fix you right up." Sans panicked. I nodded, but my mind was else where. How did this happen? I've eaten only some things. And I only drank... tea. The tea. Papyrus poisoned me. Somehow Sans had lifted me into his arms and was now warning me to not let go. I didn't say anything, didn't have too. My bodying started to reject the blood inside me. I continued to cough it up into my hands until all the energy in my had drained out. A thin trail of blood ran down my chin and my hand was covered. My breathing was shallow and I was so so tired...

Sans POV:

I felt her breathing getting more and more shallow as I ran. The flowers were now spreading amongst her arms and torso. I gripped her tighter. Teleporting short distances in order to get there faster. I finally reached a small building with big bold letters on the outside. I sped past them and teleported right into the middle of the house.

"YOU DAMN ROBOT! WHERE ARE YOU!" I shouted, quickly looking everywhere, extremely conscious of the warm liquid running down my arms.

"No need to yell darling, what do you need- oh my goodness!" The famous pink robot started then quickly stopped.

"Please, you have to know something! Please anything!" I begged. Mettaton hesitated before reluctantly nodding and motioning to a spot near the couch. I quickly put her down on the couch and stood by hear, never once letting go of her hand.

"I'll see what I can do, there's not much since I don't know what had happened." Mettaton sighed, starting to look over Frisk.

"Papy...rus....tea.... poison..." Frisk managed to explain. Her face scrunched up with pain and blood quickly started to fall out of her mouth as she coughed. I quickly cleaned it up with a near by towel and kept stroking her hand in a comforting manner. Mettaton froze before running to the cabinets. He then grabbed a yellow-green vial and poured it into Frisks mouth.

"I can't stop his poison, but I can delay it till you go to Alphys." Mettaton explained with deep importance imbedded into his voice. I nodded and gently scooped up Frisk, holding her tightly as I headed for the door. Mettaton wished us goodbye and we headed for Alphys lab. Flowey gripped Frisks shoulder and all I could think was of how I was going to lose her.
