Monday(8:00am) "Amiyah get up!!" I hear my mom saying shaking me and pulling my covers off of my bed I did not miss that this summer I thought to myself.
"Five more minutes mom plzzz" I beg her and she proceed to shake me since I didn't budge she left the room and I went back to sleep until I heard her call my dad.
"Mark your daughter doesn't wanna wake up!" I got up as fast as I could my dad would flip my whole mattress and me over if I didn't get up.
I checked the time and I immediately went to take a shower and got ready I wasn't trying to be late on my first day back to school even though it wouldn't matter it was practically normal at this point I was always late to school ever since freshmen year.
"Amiyah if you don't hurry up downstairs little girl your food is gonna get cold and you know you eat slow" I rolled my eyes hearing her call me from downstairs my mom didn't play when it came to me being late even though it was normal she still didn't like it.
I rushed down stairs and ate my food it didn't even take me that long since I just had waffles and fruit as I walk out the door I say my goodbyes and I love you to my parents and get my car started I set up my radio and start playing Summer Walker as I drove to school.
As soon as I get to school I see 95% of the school outside mingling with their friends and stuff I guess everybody missed their friends I didn't have to miss my best friend because she was with me all summer speaking of the devil her self breaking me out of my thoughts "Heyyy Bitch!!!!" my best friend Serenity says as she pulls up right next to my car in the student parking lot.
Me and Serenity been friends since Kindergarten one day my teacher started yelling at me just because but looking back at it she definitely was racist and Serenity ain't like that so she stood for up me ever since then we been inseparable.
Breaking me out of my thoughts again she came running and hugged me like we weren't just with each other yesterday "Serenity now you know we were just with each other yesterday" I said to her with a raised eyebrow "I know but you know I can't be away from my best friend for too long" I laughed at her response as we walk up to the school saying hi to practically half of the student body.
I was pretty popular at School almost everyone knew me form Freshman's to Seniors the school was like my third home since Serenity's house was my second everyone loved me because of the humor and love I brought to school I loved my school and my friends and teachers I had here I wasn't a snobby popular person people would think when you say "popular" everyone just liked talking to me and hanging with me.
As I was thinking I saw all these seniors circling this one person I couldn't see who it was but I would bet they're popular because seniors huddling someone was just a weird look at our school as I try to look Serenity pulls me to the circle as one of the seniors named Caleb saw us and practically announced to the whole circle we were here.
"YO AMIYAH AND SERENITY ARE HERE" Caleb shouts I rolled my eyes as Serenity laughs and pulls us over there I know I said I was popular but doesn't mean I liked attention on me all the time "hey Caleb" me and Serenity say at the same time as the circle eventually opens I see who they were huddling.
"Amiyah this is Chris and Chris this is Amiyah"Caleb spoke I made I contact with him before he gave me a head nod and I waved at him.
