Third Pov
Sunday(4:00pm)
Everyone stood outside Amiyah's backyard as they were getting ready to celebrate her grandma's birthday.
Once everyone sang happy birthday they got in a circle and Amiyah prayed to her before saying her speech about her.
"I knew you we're going to be my best friend from the moment I held you in the hospital at least that's what you told me and well you didn't lie because we did end up being best friends we were very close and still are I speak to you everyday I always have ever since you passed away grandma I want to thank you for watching over me and not ever letting things go to far" she spoke as tears fell from her face repeatedly.
"You taught me to love myself and to appreciate myself and to never give up and I never did because of you I am successful and not only do I love myself but I have a whole family to love now grandma" she said chuckling at the last part.
"You saved me and protected me and sometimes I wish you didn't so you can still be here with me and see everything i did that you taught me but I know your watching above and happy for me that's all I ever wanted was for you to be smiling at me but now you are smiling down on me."
"I miss your hugs and kisses and you randomly picking me up just to drive around but you know what I can just do that with my babies or grand babies when I have some if I do because I know you would want me to be cool with them like you were with me."
"Grandma I love you and I want to thank you for teaching me to be different and to love different from others and I took those words to heart and successfully used them.
"Thank you for being there for me grandma and overall thank you for letting me be different."
As Amiyah finished up her speech everyone went to hug her and when they parted they decided to party because that's what she would've wanted.
