"Amiyah this is Chris Chris this Amiyah" Caleb loud ass spoke I gave her a head nod and she waved at me.
Who is she?
I thought to myself as she looked away not making things awkward I broke the silence "Yo ain't you supposed to show me around?" I asked Caleb as he nodded his head letting me know he forgot 'smh' I thought to myself "You new here homeboy?" who I assumed was Serenity asked me I just stood there and nodded my head.
"Can he not talk?" She asked Caleb "He can he just don't like too" he responded to her I damn sure didn't like talking especially to people I didn't know.
"Yooo Chris and Caleb wassup gang?" DeAndre asked me and Caleb as he dapped us up and the rest of the seniors Caleb and DeAndre were cousins and I was homies with both of them I was closer to DeAndre tho bc we lived on the same block since we was kids in New York
I met Caleb when he came to DeAndre house one summer we was homies ever since but then DeAndre moved back to Atlanta his freshmen year and now I just moved back to Atlanta this year.
"Nothing waiting on Caleb to show me around this big ass school" I said as I responded to DeAndre question this was a big ass school.
"Hey Amiyah and Serenity" DeAndre spoke to the girls and they said hey back at the same time DeAndre looked at me like he was gonna greet us again "We already met him DeAndre so don't even" who I'm assuming was Amiyah said as she rolled her eyes and walked off making Serenity chase her down the hall as the bell rang.
What the hell was her problem.
30 minutes later after Caleb showed me around I knew where all my classes were I walked into my first period which was English as soon as I walked in all the girls looked at me and I rolled my eyes greeting the teacher and sat down where there was a empty seat "yes" I said to myself quietly as I saw the seat was in the back I thought to myself how I knew I was gonna have a good day in this class until a I saw her right next to my seat.
She stared at me with a mugg look on her face what the hell did I do to her I.
"Ms.Jhene can you plz pay attention and get the book from on top of the desk and start reading please and thank you" Mr.Row said to her and she sighed and rolled her eyes and started reading this is gonna be a long class period I thought to myself.
The rest of the day I went to my classes and greeted my teachers and always took the back seat except this one class we had joint tables and let's just say I didn't like that idea but I had to sit there anyways it wasn't as bad though because I sat in the back except the girl sitting with me wouldn't stop looking at me.
It was the end of the day and me and the boys went to Basketball try outs and there was a couple of girls sitting on the bleachers including Amiyah and Serenity as well I was confused why but I shrugged it off and go to try outs at the end me and the boys was sweating that gym was hot as hell but nobody else was sweating but the people who was trying out .
"I'll post who made the team later on y'all most likely get a text of a link which will be the list" one of the players asked coach about call backs "there ain't no need for call backs" coach said shaking his head.
"Come on Amiyah and Serenity"Coah Said "Alright we'll be down there uncle" Amiyah responded from the bleachers I looked at coach and then her she saw me looking and immediately turned away rolling her eyes "What's this girl's problem" I said to myself exiting the gym walking to my car.
