Prologue

Changes can sometimes be the best and worst thing for a person, it can be the start of a new beginning or the end of something. A lot of people have opinions on changes some say it can be amazing if you just let it happen while others say it's the absolute worst one of those people being Alanna Hide.

Alanna Hide was a perfect pretty girl living the perfect life she had a hot boyfriend, many friends, was popular, and was rich she had the life many desired but couldn't have but that ALL changed.

A couple months ago her step father, whom she'd loved like her own dad passed from a stroke which cause Alanna to lose everything good at school including her boyfriend and of course she was devastated over his death it was like losing her actual dad over again and out of her and her 2 sisters Jennifer and Devina Alanna definitely took it the hardest.

The first month of his death Jennifer barley ate which caused the girl to collapse in her room and was found by her sister who thought she was dead.

After running down the house screaming that her sister was dead the family immediately called 911 after their poor mother passed out after hearing her daughter shouts. After she was released from the hospital her mother always made sure to watch her eat her food but it soon became clear that all their efforts went to waste because the girl always use to throw back up the food multiple times.

And just as it seems like the 3 girls were finally getting back to their old self and were finally living life to the fullest things took a turn for the worse. Because her step fathers lawyers decided to state his will which lead the family to discover that through out his 10yr marriage with her mother he had always been sneaking around with a business partner of his.

Not only did he give the woman his fortune, business, all his property and none to his actual daughter but it turns out he also gave the woman a baby boy after failing to take proper precautions.

The 3 girls sweet feelings for the man quickly turned sour yeah they were hurting but what made them upset was the fact he used their mother, for 10yrs he completely lied to her face saying he loved her when it seems like he never did. Needless to say the girls resented him but even after finding out that the man was a cheater their mother Lorelei always kept her head up in fact the 3 sisters never even once saw their mother cry or shed a tear and whenever the girls were bad mouthing the man they once called dad she'd always step in and put a stop to it.

But behind closed doors Lorelei was upset and cried every night and wore makeup so the girls wouldn't notice, she wanted to be strong for the 3 girls she knew that all of this information was a lot to take in for them and she didn't want them to feel overwhelmed.

Soon the time came for them to hand everything over to his mistress and that also meant that Devina had to go live with her and of course Devina being Devina absolutely refused she even said that if she had to live with that witch she would end her life of course this sent Lorelei into complete crazy mom mode. For weeks she argued with the lawyers for a solution that would benefit both parties and within these weeks she had been looking for a new job that could help her support her three children. After a major breakthrough with the lawyers the now Devina Hide will be spending atleast a month with her father's mistress each year still Devina wasn't happy about that either but after Lorelei did some major convincing which made Devina cave and agree. The mother of three also had found a new job as a nurse though it wasn't ideal it was what she had to settle for and she did. And now the only thing that was stopping her from working was the distance, the new job was all the way in a small town located in Washington. The name? Forks
