POV: ALANNA

The car ride was surprisingly very fun I got to know the girl a lot she had told me that she was just visiting the town and that her name was Sacrlet, Scarlet Johnson. While we were talking the car suddenly came to a stop and there in front of the car was Rosalie and I'm guessing the rest of the Cullen family they were all leaning on their cars in the middle of the road. I could tell Rosalie was upset but I couldn't figure out why while the other Cullens looked tense as Scarlet was looking at them she also seemed very tense she was actually gripping the staring wheels, I gently touched her arms in hopes to get her to relax and it seemed like it worked cause her body seemed to become less tense. She grabbed my hand and gave it a kiss in a comforting way instead of a flirtatious way

"Stay here I'll be right back okay don't come out it may be dangerous" was all she said before stepping out leaving me confused at her words. 'Why would the Cullens be dangerous' i thought to myself. As she was going over to the family Rosalie seemed to be coming in my direction but before she could come any closer Scarlet got in her way blocking her from coming any further in a protective manner but I was confused at why she was so defensive against the family. It seemed like the two were having an argument which didn't seem that deep until Rosalie slapped Scaret straight across her face immediately I got out of the car and rushed to Scarlets side after giving Rosalie a gentle push but I couldn't help but feel guilty after I saw the look on her face but I pushed the feeling aside

"What the hell is wrong with you Rosalie you can't just hit someone like that" I say rising my voice

"Me!? No Alanna what is wrong with you! What the hell were you even doing in her car and why do you even care for her it's not like you two are together!" hissed the blonde but before I can reply I felt Scarlets hands around my waist and her face in the crook of my neck.

"I'm fine" was all the girl said. In the corner of my eye it looked like Rosalie was about to attack the girl but before she could I wrapped my arms around the girl pulling her closing to me so if Rosalie did attack her she would also attack me but luckily a blonde girl who I haven't seen before held her back.

I felt a cold hand touch mines and I saw that it was an older looking guy I'm guessing he's Charlisle

"Alanna do you mind letting her go? Don't worry we mean no harm to the girl she just so happens to be family" His voice was calm and composed but it held authority so I did as I was told. "Thank you, why don't Rosalie give you a ride home" He say motioning us to the car. Rosalie didn't object neither did I. The car ride was filled with awkward silence Rosalie seemed too angry to talk and I didn't think it was a good idea to talk to her while she's upset but the silence was broken by the grumbling of my stomach.

"Do you want me to pull over so you can have lunch?"

"Like a lunch date?"

"Yeah I guess so"

"But our first date is supposed to be tomorrow"

"Let's cancel it"

"What? Cancel. Why?"

"I have something to do so I can't do it tomorrow"

"Is it more important than me?" I joked trying to lighten up the mood but it seemed like she wasn't too interested because she just kept quiet. "Fine whatever let's just cancel it and no don't bother. Just drop me home" I was kind of hurt but I guess it couldn't be helped plus I didn't want to seem clingy. I left the car with a loud slam and just headed up to my room. I took a shower washing off all the dirty ocean water and got changed into a white tank top with a baby blue couture tracksuit pants I just put my hair into a messy ponytail and headed downstairs for a quick snack. I hanged out with my sisters for a couple hours until it got dark.
