Here's the second chapter of the story. Do give criticism if you found something you don't like in the story. I'm going to need anything in order to improve myself.

=================

1 month later...

" Well, little sis... I'll be on my way now. Give me a call if you need help with something, alright?" I say with care and concern to my sister as I picked up my huge bag.

" Yeah, Yeah, I'll be fine!" She gives me a strong pat on the back while grinning. " I'm already 17 years old for crying out loud!"

It took me a month, but I finally managed to earn enough money to buy a plane ticket to Japan.

" I'm really sorry for this, sis. If it wasn't for me, mom and dad would still be--"

Agatha cuts me off.

" For the millionth time, mom and dad's death wasn't your fault... Please, just believe in your sister for once, okay? I promise I'll be fine. Aunt Liz will drop by once a week to check up on me." Agatha desperately tries to reassure me by holding my hand tightly.

This is mostly one of the main reasons why I ignored the curse for five years, and the reason is that I don't want to leave my younger sister behind... Especially when I made a promise to our parents to keep her safe. I promised to always be there by her side until she's finally an adult, and it's painful to think that I wouldn't be able to keep this promise I made to my late parents.

" Okay, I trust you, sis." I nod my head as I try to force out a smile. " Please take care."

" You as well. Try not to die on your way, yeah? I don't want to lose you as well." Agatha lets go of my hand and give me a tight hug instead.

" I promise I won't." I hug her back as I gently stroke her hair.

After a long minute, my sister finally breaks the hug and gives me her final goodbye by giving me a huge thumbs up with a smile on her face. I smile back to her as well before I then slowly turn around and leave.

" Do introduce me to your future girlfriend, alright?!" Agatha yells from behind me while I make my way outside.

" Only if my partner is a girl!" I yell back to her without stopping.

" Oh, I know she will be! You can bet on it!"

" Haha... Thank you, sis. You just made me more confident about myself." I say to myself before I giggle.

Soon enough, I arrived at the airport on time without anything bad happening to me.

I make my way through the terminal while casually checking on my wrist to see what time it is. I try to keep myself as occupied as possible, so all the people staring at me from all directions would not realize that I'm aware of them staring at me. I can't tell if these people are amazed or just afraid of the floating red thread around me.

" Just don't pay any attention to them. You'll be fine." I try to keep my composure by reassuring myself.

After getting through the security checkpoint, I then went to the departure terminal where the plane waits. I get inside and take my seat, making myself comfortable to prepare for the long flight.

" I guess I'm at a point of no return now..." Sweat runs through my face due to nervousness. " I hope this plane doesn't crash because of me..."

There have been some reports before about multiple plane crashes that contained a cursed human on board. It's the exact reason why many people were staring at me as soon as I arrived at the airport.
