" Yosh! Now that Null-kun is finally here, I'm going to ask Yagoo if he could permit him to enter HQ!" Amane pumps her fist in the air in full energy.

" You could've done that instead of trying to attack me." Towa gives her a displeased look while keeping her distance away from her.

" That's because you weren't taking my questions seriously! We could've avoided that unnecessary dispute if you just took me seriously!"

It took me about a total of ten minutes to break the fight between the two. Amane decided to call it quits when we were starting to harbor the attention of bystanders due to the commotion we were making. Meanwhile, Towa continued to mess with Amane by ignoring her threat and just continued to put on her make-up.

" How do I look, Null-kun? Enough to get your heart racin'?"

Ignoring Amane yet again, Towa brings herself close to my face to show the make-up she just put on. We just stare into each other's eyes as both our faces are only inches apart.

It's crazy to think that an attractive woman like her shows no regard to mind doing bold things like these.

" Not quite, but I think you'll do just fine without makeup on," I respond nonchalantly.

Well, it's not that it bothers me to have a woman's face this close to me...

" Woah! How blunt!" The smile on her face widens. " I like that response! Thanks!"

After seemingly getting amused by my response, she lightly pats my head multiple times as she smiles at me with her eyes closed. I can't help but think that she's treating me like a dog...

" Take care of Kanata for me, okay? I know she might seem like a handful but she's a sweet girl at heart." The devil says sincerely.

" S-Sure... You can count on me..." I slightly nod my head.

Despite her chaotic nature, I guess she does care for Amane deep inside. The genuine smile she's showing me shows everything I need to know. Just like Amane... This girl is also an Angel.

" Towa-sama, I want to--"

" Oiiii!! Don't treat me as if I'm a child!"

Amane jumps into the conversation before I could even finish my sentence. She gives Towa a light punch on her shoulder before she turns her attention to me.

" OWWW!! THAT HURTS, YOU GORILLA GIRL!" Towa yells in pain but Amane just ignores her.

" Listen here, Null-kun." She stands in front of me. " I know both of us are bound by fate, but I'm not going to take your freedom away from you. Don't let my existence limit you from doing what you want to do. I'm not going to let myself be a burden to you, but of course, I also don't want you to be a burden to me."

She takes both my hand and holds onto them tightly. She locks her gaze into my eyes intently.

" Amane-san..."

We only met yesterday, so I can understand why she doesn't want to take our relationship further. It makes sense, even though we're bound by fate, there is nothing more stronger than our own emotions. You can't force someone to fall in love just because the heavens demand them to.

It's clear to me, that as of now, Amane-san doesn't see me as someone special to her.

" I understand, Amane-san. I also feel the same way!" I squeeze her hands tightly as I give her a reassuring smile.
