"haech! check this out, i'm good at claw machines." renjun and haechan were out at the arcade today for no reason at all, just fun

of course the two risked their lives for it, renjun having to act like he was sulking because of the teasing, and haechan whose day was practically a jail-break because of how much he had to run into just to get out of his house.

haechan smiled at how focused renjun was at getting the small stuffed dog, turning his head to the side to pretend that he didn't see it when renjun took the toy out

"did you see it?" renjun asked, very proud of himself right now, his proud smile turning into an annoyed frown when haechan shook his head

"whatever. cute, right?" renjun smiled and showed haechan the stuffed toy he won, "you're adorableee" haechan smiled while renjun had a face on that probably said '???'.

the sun was going down, the two decided to separate their ways after hanging out, renjun decided to go home for now to clean up the house before his mom arrives tomorrow, getting confused when the lights were open.

"hello? whos in here?" renjun asked as closed the door, hands shaking when he heard chatter from the living room

it seemed like there was one man, one woman, and a child?!

a small gasp escaped renjuns mouth when he saw his mom sitting down, "ma? i thought you weren't going to be back until tomorrow?"

mama huang hummed, "i was but i wanted you to meet chaoxiang, and his six year old daughter, jian."

renjun stood there in surprise, was this the man his mom was going to replace his dad with?

not bad though, good looking, rich, seems independent and loyal, but a grumpy looking fetus? woah there mama huang

"hey there kid, your mom has talked about you alot" the man smiled, nodding awkwardly when renjun only pointed at his mom with a face that was asking if she was dating him

"hes such an excellent gentleman, ren, don't be sad" mama huang smiled and held both of renjuns hands, slightly frowning when renjun sighed, "i'll be in my room, nice meeting you two" he waved and quietly made his way upstairs.

he silently shut the door, plopping down on his bed and pulling his phone out

i dont think ill be out of my room for a while

no, my mom bought someone over and im afraid that she'd replace dad with him
he doesnt seem bad though, just way too different from papa
