SOPHIE'S POV/PERSPECTIVE:Sleeping peacefully in my bed, I was cradling a pillow to my chest. My vibrant, radiating alarm started to go off. The sun was beaming through my blinds causing me to stir as I slowly woke up. Usually, waking up was a simple task for me but today it felt like a mission, I was never really a morning person at all, after all.
The day dawned crisp and clear. The sun poured through my window. Another day had dawned, bringing with it new hopes and aspirations for another day of school. That place is full of wonders. Trust me... It's always unpredictable.
I stretch my body in my cozy bed... The blankets were heavy upon my body as I lifted them to get out of my bed... Sadly. Splashing cold, hydrating water on my face to wake up my sleepy instincts, followed up by my skincare and quickly applied some makeup for school today.
- Concealer under the eyes
- Fill in eyebrows
- Curl lashes and mascara
- Lip liner, gloss and blush"Good morning girls." I tell my mom and sister with a smile... While I make my way over to the cabinet in our kitchen grabbing out the cereal.
"Morning sweetheart." My mother Sherry tells me as she kisses my forehead gently. "Good morning Soph." My sister replies, before she yawns.
"Cereal?" I ask my sister Isabel, which is three years younger than me. Our bond was unbreakable, I mean yeah we would have our fights here and there but after all... She was my sister. I couldn't ask for anyone better. "Always!" She replied to me, leaving out a chuckle.
I grab out two bowls and start to pour some cereal in both bowls for the two of us. Lucky charms. Yes I still eat lucky charms.. I mean it never gets old! She pours in milk, as it splashes over the charms. We quickly finish up our bowls, Kiss our mom goodbye and I drive us both over to school. Blasting music!
I drop her off at school first, She's in her last year of middle school. Likewise, I'm a senior experiencing my last year of high school before heading off to college. Wow, time really does fly. I arrive at school and realise I'm late. I quickly park.. Until I see the one and only...
Silas Sinclair
My mortal enemy ever since 2nd grade. God help me! I said in my head before hopping out my car.
"Look who it is." he says in his deep, raspy voice as he looks up at me from his phone.
"It's the morning, Shut up." I say clearly unbothered as I make my way over to the schools entry. He really knew how to piss me off. I notice him making his way up behind me. Catching up to my walking pace.
"Why in such a mood Soph?" He says in a cocky tone. "I've seen you today, that's why." I reply, in not a polite manner as I walk to our class. Silas was in every single one of my classes, ever since the 6th grade. Sadly.
"Do you want to cry while your at it? Plenty girls would love to see me first thing in the morning." He states as we walk up the stairs. "Full of yourself, much?" I reply sarcastically.
I did not want to walk besides him anymore... "Don't be too late, Sinclair" I tell him giggling as I sprint my way over to our class. Leaving him behind. "Bitch!" I heard him scream, as it echoes in the halls. I try to catch my breath as I open the classroom door. "Miss Campbell, Why are you late?" Mr Kingston asks me, In a questioning tone.
"Uh, bathroom!" I say, clearly... And technically lying. I know.. Bad excuse! I make my way over to my desk where I sit next to Grace and Scarlett. My all time best friends for the eighth year in a row. Giving them both a warm hug, before I start to unpack my equipment.
