SOPHIE'S PERSPECTIVE/POV:

"You what?" I turned to Silas. Silas just stood there, he never wanted me to find out. "But you, you hate me. What happened to that?" I spoke again, my stomach sinking. Silas let out a breath before looking down at me, his tall body crowding over mine. "You we're on the verge of dying, it meant nothing." He said staring into my eyes before my stomach fluttered again. He avoided eye contact after our interaction... his anger still contains within him before he walked off, almost like he was heartless... almost like he had flipped a switch.

I turned to see Silas walk off before Jackson and Grace started hovering him with questions, he ignored them as he walked in. Grace signalled me a "What happened?" look. I can't believe she never told me. I just shook my head and looked back at Alex. "I want you gone, please." I told him, before he walked off aggressively, going through the back door. Once he was gone I rushed inside, I needed to see Silas.

"Where is he?" I asked my friends inside, out of breath from my hurry inside.

"He ran off." Jackson said, referring to Silas.

My stomach sank, like a coin into a never ending fountain. I needed to find him, ask him. I ran towards the white wooden door that was hanging open, the sunlight beaming into my eyes as it streamed through the door. On the concrete path walk I ended up, my hand above my head to cover the sunlight from disregarding my perspective as I turned my head left to right, trying to find where Silas could have gone.

SILAS' POV/PERSPECTIVE:

I couldn't stand the sight of him, more so.. The sight of him next to her. I wasn't lying, it meant nothing. That "save" meant nothing, i didn't like her... In fact I hated her back then. I mean anyone would do what was done if they were in my position, who's going to stand there and watch a person on the verge of unconscious, getting choked... No strength to push a drunk, heavy body off them as hands wrapped around their neck, suffocating any breath that could enter pipes. Unless, if you were evil.

My hand raises up to cover the beam of sunlight striking in my eyes, as I walk upon the path walk to my car until I hear someone. "Silas!" a scream stroke, I turn around and see Sophie waving her arm in the air, as she giggled and ran over to me. The 2 minutes that it took her to get to me passed. "Hi" She spoke once she caught up to me, out of breath as she brushed her hair out of her face, looking at me. "Hi Sophie" I replied, sliding my hands in my pocket as I led the way, we continued to walk. "I'm not going to ask what that was about, Grace cleared it up to me. And i'm going to say thank you... and then move on. So thank you, Silas. I- I guess I never thought it was you." Sophie mentioned gently as she walked on my ride side.

"Oh Soph, your too kind!" I nudged her shoulder, teasing her. She hit the back of my head. "Ouch!" I gasped, before breaking into laughter. "Still the same Silas, still the Silas." She spoke shaking her head with a grin plastered on widely. "Oh? What's that supposed to mean?" I asked her, pulling her to my side as my arm wraps around her shoulder, looking down. "Stop, stop stop!" She giggled as she ran in front of me walking backwards as she was now facing towards me "-you know what I mean. Your a tease, you know it. You always have been." Sophie spoke as she continued pacing forwards... Walking towards the beach down the street. "How does some water sound to you my beloved nemesis?" She said chuckling. "Pretty damn good right now" I replied before sprinting onto the sand in front of her. "Wait up!-" I heard her scream behind me, as I continued running.

Turning around I see Sophie just catching up. 3 meters in front of me, and I can see the immense smile illustrated on her face. "Come on babe" She screamed, her feet brushing among the sand as she ran towards the crashing waves. "Thats not fair I thought you hated that word!... Babe."  I tell her teasingly before I catch up to her on the sand, my face towards hers as I hover above her. Sophie's eyes highlighted by the sun, her skin kissed by the rays. "Thank you." She tells me once more. "Sophie I couldn't just leave you there-" I spoke before I was interrupted with her hands on my chest. Taking off my shirt. "-hey what are you doing?" I continued. "We're gonna swim aren't we?" She stated, a smile smudged on her face as her dimples contrasted.

My stomach does about... 3 backflips. Those dimples.

Before I knew it she was in the water, I chased after her... Splashing her with water. "Ha! Your hair is wet now!" I told her, as I began laughing. "Silas!" She screamed before she giggled, her hands on her stomach. The waves brushed among our knees, then upper legs. Walking towards me, her hand is printed onto my chest as she brought my head down. "I wanted to-" She cut herself off by dumping a small pile of sand on my head before she ran after she had just tricked me, slowly at least. It's not easy to run in water. Sophie laughed as she got weak, I've never seen her smile this much with me. Only me.

I chased after her as I lifted her from behind, her legs kicking the air. Our skin pressed among one another's. "Silas!" She screamed. "Put me down."

"Okay, okay. If you say so." I told her. Her hand on my head, using it for balance to get down steadily. She's now standing in front of me, her hand in my hair.

"Your eyes." She told me, gazing into them like she had found treasure.

"What about them?" I grinned, looking down at her.

"Seascape, green." She brought me down to her face. Mine inches away from hers, before she connected our lips. My chest speeding like a race car, her soft lips pressed among mine as my hand reached her waist to bring her closer.

"What-" I said before she cut me off. "Your eyes, they look like a green seascape. My own, seascape." She continued, her eyes looking mesmerising as they glared from the sun, that kissed both our bodies.

"Soph, I don't know how you make me feel like this." I told her, our foreheads attached. Our breathing heavy. "Like what?" Sophie questioned, her fingers glazing among my cheek, before she ran them through my hair once more.

"Like nobody has ever made me feel, baby."

"Silas I-" Sophie begins before I smash my lips back into hers. The passion that rose between us was inevitable. My chest rose up and down rapidly, nobody has ever had this effect on me before. She was electric, synced to my soul...But was she mine? Am I her's?
