23 | Secrets

SOPHIE'S POV/PERSPECTIVE:

Warmth fills up my body by the presence of the large body that is attached to me. Large arms wrapped around my waist as my head lays gently on his chest. Silas' chest. Yes you heard that correctly. THE Silas that I supposedly hate.. It felt so right being in his arms but at the same time it was so weird that thoughts went circling around my mind. Opening my eyes softly as I look up to him, scanning his features when all the sudden..

"Don't stare, it's not nice" Silas said in his deep, raspy morning voice before opening his emerald eyes as sun shined onto them coming from his window. We both laughed as I hit his chest and shoved my head back into his chest out of embarrassment. "I was not staring.. I still hate you" I mumbled. Hearing a chuckle coming from Silas, "Yeah, yeah hate me" He said as he pulled me closer. "We both know you don't" He said bringing my head to his.

"I was wondering when the cocky Silas was going to return" I said with a smirk on my face, his face inches away. "You can't get rid of me babe" He said.. Before he started to tickle me. "Silas.. Stop" I said while i couldn't stop laughing. "Don't call me that" I said while trying to get out of his touch. "Why?" He said with the biggest smile on his face as he continued tickling me before I ended up on top of him and that's when he stopped.

I was straddling Silas.. I was on my way to get off but then I felt two large hands pull me back down. "No tell me why you don't want me to call you that" He asked. Bending my head to his as I said. "Because I'm not another of your side chicks.. babe" I told him with a cocky smirk on my face returning the energy back. Yes.. He was nice and thoughtful to bring me back from the party and save me from that douche Adam.

But he was still.. How can I say it.. Silas. He seemed like he had changed but I wonder why he had took me away from Adam unless just letting it happen. I would've thought he would want me to get beat since you know we're not really big fans of each other and rarely tolerate each other.. but I guess not.

A smile smudges across his face as he places his hands in the air "Alright then Soph" He said. Smiling before I get off him and sit up to put my shoes on. "Where are you going?" He asked. "I have to go meet up with Scarlett" I told him. She had planned on going shopping and insisted I came. "Oh Okay" He said. "Yep" I replied as I stood up and faced him still in the bed. "Thank you for yesterday" I told him genuinely before grabbing my dress and opening his bedroom door, walking downstairs trying not to wake anybody up.

Grabbing my phone out to text Scarlett if she could pick me up so we can go over to mine, get ready and head on out.

Sophie: Hey can you come pick me up from Silas' house? I'll explain later.

Scarlett: You better explain! And I was already in that area. Be there in less than 5!

Sophie: Thank you so much, See you x

Walking around Silas' neighbourhood as I notice Scarlett's car coming towards me. Stopping right in front of me as she rolled down her window. "Hey!" She yelled. Getting in the car and turning to Scarlett as she looked at me curiously. Just to remind you I was still in Silas' clothes. She points to the clothes. "Why are you in Silas' clothes, In Silas' house!" She told me freaking out. "Calm down" I told her as I laughed and rested my head on the head rest of the leather interior of her car.

"Wait did you two?" She asked. My eyes widening. "Oh no, God no" I said relieved as I let out a slight chuckle. I started explaining to her what had happened with Adam at the party, She had already knew about what Adam has been doing but he threatened her if she told anyone or seeked for help. I then started to tell her how Silas was there and how he helped me and what he did. I although didn't  tell her about how Silas was abused.. I didn't feel like it was necessary and to be honest it's not my business.

"Wait i thought you two hated each other?" She said as she continues to drive over to my house. "We do! Maybe a bit less.. But that's not the point it was probably a kind gesture" I told her. I didn't want her thinking things and trust me she overthinks a lot like a heaps ton. "Good to know you wouldn't go for him, You know how he is.. I don't want him hurting you. He doesn't have a good reputation with relationships Soph" Scarlett stated.

"Yeah exactly" I replied. Yes i knew how he was but after last night I feel a different way, I have a different perspective of him. Just the slightest. Of course I have not forgotten all the horrible things he had done but I also can't just forget the kind ones too.

"It smells like Silas in here, his cologne is too strong" Scarlett says as she waves her hand in front of her face. I just let out a laugh trying to keep it as low key as usual, I still want everyone thinking i hate him.  Minutes pass and we've arrived to my house. "Home sweet home" I said as I walk up to the front door. Scarlett along with me.
