General POV
Yamato was taken into the basement of the base for interrogation. PoW, Illustrious, Enterprise, Unicorn, and Cleveland were present for questioning.
Enterprise: State your name for the record.
Yamato: IJN Yamato, or Hotel Yamato as most came to call me.
PoW: Um, excuse me, but why would a battleship like yourself be called a hotel?
Yamato: When I was in service the Aircraft Carrier was more important and more useful, and since I was deemed too much to lose I was kept out of action and most of my time alive was spent in ports.
Unicorn: D-don't you have any friends?
Yamato: *sighs* Many of my fleet mates were cruel or just introverted so I became introverted with the only exceptions being my siblings.
Enterprise: We're getting off topic, what are your intentions and what is your faction?
Yamato: I.....don't have a faction, as you all saw I manifested out of nowhere. As for intentions, don't worry I'm not here to harm you or your factions.
Illustrious: Ah, a kind, gentle giant with excessive mannerisms. An interesting case considering that we are at war.
Enterprise: One last question, will you join Azur Lane?
Yamato: Yes, yes I will join Azur Lane. After all I've gotten this deep, no bailing out now.
PoW: Well Yamato, welcome to Azur Lane.
Unicorn: Um, can I call you big brother?
This shocked Illustrious as Unicorn was never this forward before.
Yamato: Um.....sure little one, I can be your big brother.
Unicorn: Yay! *hugs Yamato*
Yamato: Must protecc innocent.
Enterprise: Now, let's get out of here and start rebuilding our base.
Timeskip 1 hour
Yamato was in the mess hall eating some lunch.....while being constantly stared at, not that he was surprised he's the only Japanese Battleship and he is also the only male on the entire island. It wasn't long before someone came up to him.
???: Hello, you must be Yamato.
Yamato: Um, yeah.....you are?
NJ: Oh, where are my manners, I'm USS New Jersey second sibling of the Iowa class.
Yamato: Um....hello there.
NJ: I'm here to give you a tour of our base. Follow me!
Yamato: Um....ok? Just after I finish my breakfast.
NJ: Yup, same here.
Timeskip 10 minutes
Yamato was now following NJ on her tour of the base, currently they were starting with the docks.
NJ: This is the docks, most of the shops are here and this is where most of the smaller ships dock, battleships usually anchor off near the center of the harbor.
Yamato: I see. That is efficient, and convenient.
NJ: Right? Well, let's continue with the tour.
The duo of battleships then made their way to the next destination, the infirmary.
NJ: This is the infirmary, hopefully you don't have to go here too often. Vestal, our repair ship, is on the mainland grabbing new supplies so......yeah.
Yamato: Right, well best try to keep injuries to a minimum. Next destination?
NJ: Next stop, the bar!
They only needed to cross the street to see the next destination.
NJ: This place serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks so it fits everyone's tastes.
Yamato: Do the little ones get ushered out when it hits 6:00?
NJ: Of course, I mean we wouldn't wanna ruin their innocence when they look this cute would we?
Yamato: Yeah, you're right. By the way, who were the 2 who infiltrated my ship when I first appeared?
NJ: Oh, that would be Enterprise and Cleveland. Why?
Yamato: Um....*blush* n-no reason...no reason at all.....
NJ: Alright Yamato, I know that look...
Yamato: Um, you do?
NJ: Yup, you've got a crush on someone.
Yamato: What is a crush?
NJ: It's when you love someone in secret but don't know if the person you love loves you back. So who is it? Cleveland or Enterprise?
Yamato: Um.......I think it's Enterprise........
NJ: *squeals* Well, I can help with dating tips after the tour.
Yamato: Oh, thank you New Jersey.
NJ: Please Honey, call me NJ.
Yamato: Alright NJ, what's our next stop?
NJ then dragged Yamato to the academy.
NJ: This is the academy, where we ships sharpen our skills or learn new battle strategies.
Yamato: Education, smart decision to make this even though half of the ships I've met are grown adults.
NJ: True, but nothing's wrong with sharpening skills or developing new ones.
Yamato: True, if only the Japanese Air Force learned that.
After that NJ dragged Yamato to the last stop on the tour, the dorms.
NJ: And this is the dorms, some of the manjuus just finished making your room, just ask for your key, and go there. That concludes the tour honey, hope you learned a few things.
Yamato: Thank you NJ, it was nice meeting you.
NJ: Aw, thanks Yamato, we'll start your dating lessons tomorrow, for now g'night!~
Yamato: Good night NJ.
A/N: Yeah I'm putting off the second episode for next time, but I had to get Yamato familiar with his new base and I honestly am still thinking on ways to fit Yamato into the anime because I can use him like bait or a bargaining tool, or for all I know I can just use him as a neutral-ish character like Jack Frost in Rise of the Guardians as for Yamato's siblings I'm gonna introduce them like I did with Enty in MJTM. anyway check out dieHero, DrDestiny, and Captainrex2177 for more stories.
