Learning Self-Defense Pt1

I swiftly pulled into the parking lot and it looked like I got here the same time the police car did. I jogged into the store seeing Khloe hugging one of the people who worked at DASH who I'm closest to. Lily. 

I quickly walked around the counter and hugged her. I whispered "I am so sorry this happened to you." She shook her head and hugged me back when the door opened.

He walked up to us looking around the store at all of the stuff that was on the ground and the stuff that had been torn. He asked her for the description which she luckily had noticed and was clear with.

I was sitting in the living room with Kylie on my lap when Bruce asked "So what are we gonna on about all of this." And Khlo said "Um so I made an appointment for us four and Lily to go get self defense classes."

I sat forward saying "We just think it would Ben important and good for us to know certain things to defend ourselves." Bruce nodded agreeing with us. "We never know what could happen."

Mom came in from the kitchen and said "I would like for you guys to have something like that under your belt. But it doesn't lend itself to taking care of somebody coming to your store yelling and screaming."

"But taking self defense classes would help with that. Who out of you guys is the toughest?" Both Khlo and Kourt said "Me!" I sat back knowing that it definitely wasn't me.

 Bruce chuckled toward me as my sisters continued to argue. "I love how you didn't even attempt to say you Kat." He chuckled and I shrugged "No point in lying to myself." This caused both him and mom to laugh.

I walked into a studio with Rob and walked toward the agent and the Photographer.

Rob was really nervous about today so he asked if I could come with him and I totally understand. I was him just a couple months ago.

"Nice to see you." We all shook hands and I smiled as the agent said "This is John Russo. He's going to be the photographer." I swung my arm that Rob was holding onto to try an calm his nerves.

"We are going to get you into your first outfit." The agent motion for Rob to go toward the dressing room. I stood close to Robs bag and just messed around on my phone till he came out.

Rob came out in a plain black T and walked over to the black backdrop. I walked over to him and whispered "Now just remember it's like when we watch Kim go down a red carpet and take pictures. Calm face, nice posture."

He nodded and I patted his shoulder softly before quickly getting out of every bodies way. The soon started and everybody seemed to be nice and understanding that this was his first thing.

They were all very comforting and uplifting and you could just tell how as time moved on Rob seemed less and less nervous. He had a couple of outfit changes.

They were all focused when the photographer chuckled saying "You're lucky you got the Kim Kardashian butt". And I chuckled saying "Well at least one of us does". And everyone laughed a bit.

The photographer looked at me and rob saying "We may have a new supermodel on our hands." I chuckled and just watched and Rob started to figure out his sort of style.

Rob got dressed in his normal clothes and the agent walked over Tom us saying "I wanted to ask you this." To Rob and he hummed to continue. "We have a job that is shooting in Japan. Can I submit you for this project?"

I watched Rob wondering what he was gonna say but he responded with "Yeah. I would love to." He nodded and smiled saying "We're gonna try and get some of these pictures for it."

"Ok because these are much better than the polaroids." Rob nodded and the shook hands and I hugged him kissing his cheek as a quick goodbye before walking out of there.

I was sad because I had to miss the self defense class this morning because I was pulled into a meeting. But now I was sitting at my desk sorting some files waiting for my salad dressing to warm up because it was almost completely frozen this morning.

I jumped at a knock on my door. I turned and of course there was Karter. I sighed and motioned for them to come in and sit on the couch. I moved my chair back from my desk so I could see them better.

We were silent till they asked "So are we just not going to talk about it?" I shrugged and said "What is there to talk about? I helped you with your eye you kissed me then I woke up and you were no where to be found."

"I tried to call you but I had to get in my apartment before Zoe could wake up to get some of my stuff out of there." I nodded but my arms didn't uncross at the information.

Then all the sudden I hear "Well looks like I wasn't exaggerating huh?" We turn and see Zoe standing in my doorway. I stood up quickly in fear she might lash out again like she had done with Karter.

"What're you doing here. You got all of your stuff out of the office." She glared at me with an annoyed look before saying "I just came to tell Karter that all of their stuff is at Ali's house."

Karter nodded and said "Thank you. Now please leave." Zoe rolled her eyes and walked out slamming the door behind her causing both of us to visibly jump.

I just sighed muttering to myself "God that girl freaks me out." Out of nowhere I hear "Tell me about it." I rolled my eyes glaring at Karter and said "Says the person who got her the job in the first place and oh yeah dated her."

They just looked down awkwardly and rubbed the back of their neck. "Look I should really get back to sorting all of Zoe's unemployed paperwork." They nodded and walked past me out of my office.
