Welcome To Beacon

Y/N POV 

Woman: "Hello and welcome to Beacon."

We turn seeing a hologram of a blonde haired woman. 

Yang: "Who's that?"

Goodwitch: "My name's Glynda Goodwitch. And you all have been personally selected to attend the great Beacon Academy. You've displayed the skill necessary to keep this world safe. Therefore it's our job to provide you with the knowledge to complete such a task."

Her hologram disappears as the airship door opens. We walk out to see the glorious Beacon Academy.

Yang: "Man Vale's got nothing on this."

Y/N/Ruby: "No kidding."

I look at Ruby to see her brain has crashed.

Y/N: "Uh oh."

Her eyes become literal stars as she points everywhere.

Ruby: "Oh my goodness!! That boy's got a collapsible staff!" *gasp* "And she's got a flaming sword!!!"

She flutters away when I pull her back to reality. 

Y/N: "Calm down Ruby."

Yang: "Yeah. They're just weapons."

Y/N: "Here we go."

Ruby: "Just weapons? Just weapons!? They're a part of us! An extension of our very body! They're just so amazing!!!"

Y/N: "See what you've done?"

Yang: "Aren't you content with your own weapon?"

She displays her scythe which just as oversized as ever.

Ruby: "Of course I am. I just like seeing new ones. It's like meeting new people, only better."

Yang: "But it's good to make friends."

Ruby: "Why make friends when I've got you two?"

Yang: "Yeaaah my friends are here so bye!"

She speeds away with her friends. I shake my head when I hear cluttering.

Voice: "You complete dolt!"

I turn seeing Ruby being yelled at by a girl with white as her main color.

Y/N: "You'd do well to not yell at my friend."

Weiss: "My name's Weiss Schnee and I demand an apology."

Voice: "Schnee the biggest supplier of dust in all of Remnant."

We look spotting a girl who's clearly a fan of black.

Weiss: "Finally some recognition."

Y/N: "The same people who're infamously known to benefit greatly from their intense Faunus labor force."

Weiss: "How dare- the nerve-"

She huffs away in anger.

Y/N: "Thanks for your-"

I turn to black only to not see her anywhere.

Y/N: "Help."

I look down at Ruby.

Ruby: "Thanks."

I pull her to her feet. As she goes up she emits a surprised squeal.

Ruby: "Have you been working out?"

I decide to play it cool.

Y/N: "Maybe."

She giggles while I think, where'd that strength come from?

Voice: "Excuse me, but do you know where to go?"

We see a boy in light armor.

Ruby: "Yeah follow us."

We begin walking to our designated location.

Boy: "So who're you guys?"

Ruby: "I'm Ruby. And this' my friend Y/N."

I wave.

Jaune: "I'm Jaune."

Ruby: "Nice to meet you."

We walk in silence.

Ruby: "So I got this."

She deploys her scythe.

Jaune: "Neat. I got these."

He shows a regular sword and shield.

Ruby: "Cool. You know not many people have respect for the classics."

They put away their weapons.

Jaune: "What've you got?"

I scratch the back of my head.

Y/N: "I... don't have a weapon."

Jaune: "Then how do you expect to survive here?"

Y/N: "I honestly don't know."

We continue to talk when we reach the amphitheater.

Yang: "Y/N, Ruby, over here!"

Ruby: "That's our cue. See ya around Jaune."

Jaune: "Yeah."

We walk over to Yang.

Yang: "So how's your guy's first day going?"

Ruby: "You mean since you ditched me?"

Yang: "Having a meltdown already?"

Y/N: "She's serious."

Ozpin: "Greetings all. I know all of you have traveled a long way to get here. To hone and gather new skills. Once you complete your time here you plan to save the people of this world. But looking at all of you I only see wasted energy in need of directions. You assume knowledge will free you from this burden. But going here will teach you that that isn't the case. In this world it's up to you to take the first step."
