Under The Highway

Y/N POV

Yang continues to play her hand until Ruby is taken out of the game.

Yang: "Your turn Weiss."

Weiss: "I have no idea what's going on."

Yang: "It's easy. See you're playing as Vacuo meaning all Vacuo cards come with an additional bonus. Like this one, resourceful raider. This'll allow you to gather Ruby's discarded air fleet,"

Ruby: "Such a cruel world."

Yang: "And put it in your hand."

Weiss: "Alright."

Yang: "And since Vacuo fighters have an endurance boost against natural hazard, you can use sandstorm to not only disable my troops but also invade my kingdom."

She points at Weiss menacingly.

Yang:" But if you do then know that I'll never forget this declaration of war."

Weiss: "And all this builds up to?"

Ruby: *crying waterfalls* "Conquering Remnant!"

Weiss: *evil laughter* "Yes. Feel the almighty power of my troops. Cry as they raid your homes. And weep as they take your children-"

Yang: "Trap card."

Weiss: "What?"

Yang: "Your precious army has been laid to ruin."

Weiss: "Why must we toy with our emotions like this!?!"

Ruby hugs her sitting on her lap.

Ruby: "Stay strong Weiss. We'll make it through this together."

Weiss hugs back crying as well.

Weiss: "I didn't give you permission to hug me."

Amica: "They're being over dramatic."

I stare smiling.

Amica: "Earth to Y/N. Come in Y/N."

My smile slightly widens. Amica makes me slap myself.

Y/N: "What was that for!?"

Amica: "I was talking to you."

Y/N: "What'd you want?"

Amica: "You should just tell her that you like her."

Y/N: "For the last time, we're just friends."

Amica: "If you don't ask her out then someone else will."

Y/N: "They wouldn't dare."

Amica: "Oh yeah? Then what's that monkey doing?"

I look to see some monkey Faunus getting a little close to Ruby.

Amica: "I can feel you getting jealous."

Y/N: "I'm not jealous!"

Amica: "I can bite his head off if you want."

Y/N: "What is with you and biting off heads?"

Amica: "It feels like you're judging me."

I ignore him.

Amica: "Fuck you."

Later that night I hear a door close. Looking out my window I see RWBY leaving Beacon.

Amica: "We should follow them."

Y/N: "Agreed."

I leap out the window as Amica makes wings sprout from my back. I then flip them making us land safely on the ground of Vale.

Y/N: "Where'd they go?"

Amica: "Look out!!!"

I become enveloped as Amica jumps us away. Turning around we see a giant Paladin.

Paladin: "What the hell are you?"

Amica: "Your doom."

He runs towards the Paladin swinging a double bladed bone axe. It rips through the Paladin's armor creating a massive tear.

Paladin: "You'll pay for that."

Amica: "You take check?"

The Paladin launches missiles at us. Amica turns our spare arm into a long sword. Swinging it the missiles are all cut in half.

Paladin: "Blasted Grimm."

It rushes towards us. It brings down its fist which is blocked by our axe. Our sword hand reverts to normal. We swing our claws tearing open the Paladin's stomach. We then dig our claws into the Paladin and flip it over our shoulder onto the ground. 

Amica: "Now I've got you."

We go to step on the Paladin when it fires a blast point blank. We go flying back hitting a highway pillar. Looking down my chest is exposed.

Y/N: "That thing can use light too."

Amica: "This just got serious."

Paladin: "What's wrong? Did that hurt?"

Amica: "This guy's annoying."

Y/N: "Let's take him down a peg."

We rush forward. The Paladin delivers a right hook. We however slide between its legs. Getting to our feet Amica wraps a tendril around the Paladin. We hurl it into the air well above the highway. When it hits the ground it shatters exposing the operator within. We pick him up by the throat.

Bowler hat: "What're you gonna do?"

We smile making him go pale.
