Y'know, someone needs to make a headcanon where Hawaii loves expensive shit. Because have you SEEN the cost of living there?? Like, HOLY SHIT! It's stupid expensive. Hawaii, California, and Massachusetts, surprisingly.
Maybe Hawaii and California go on shopping sprees like, once a month. Sometimes, Massachusetts will go and they'll drag Mississippi or Maryland with them.
