Summary: Y/N becomes really busy and barely hangs out with Will anymore, until Will confronts them about it, and maybe confesses feelings...

Wills POV:

I look at the clock in disbelief. Y/N hasn't shown up. Again. They're always so busy now, with schoolwork, and helping out with Steve and Robin at Scoops Ahoy, and a bunch of other stuff that I don't even remember! They never have time for me anymore.

We used to be so close. We'd hang out everyday, id teach them to play D&D, we'd watch movies every weekend, we'd call every day, even if it was just to say goodnight or goodmorning. But now I don't even get a phone call.

She's at Scoops right now I think, helping Robin, at least that's what Dustin said, so now I'm on my way to Starcourt to confront her...and get free ice cream.

Once I reach the mall, I almost jump off my bike and run through the doors, almost falling over in the process, so I received a lot of weird looks from strangers.

When I get inside Scoops Ahoy, I see Robin at the counter. I walk up to her and ask, "Hi is Y/N here?" She gives me a weird look before going through the doors behind the counter. She better be getting Y/N or else...I don't know why, but she better be!

My eyes shoot to the doors as soon as I heard them open and Y/N walked out in a scoops ahoy uniform. I don't know how they got that, their too young for the job and they are only helping out, maybe Robin gave them one of hers or something, I don't know why I'm wondering about their uniform. I'm that nervous.

"Hi Will, what are you doing here? Do you need to get to the movie theatre or something?" They ask. I love their voice, it's so angelic. I must of been daydreaming for a little too long because I then heard them inquire once again, "Will? Are you okay?"

I blink a couple of times before answering saying, "Yeah I'm fine, I was wondering if I could talk to you?"

They smiled apologetically and stared, "I'm actually a bit busy at the moment but I can talk to you in a bit if that's okay?"

"That's the problem Y/N, you never have time anymore! I know I can't blame you for having a life but you could at least call me? Or tell me when you can thang out so I'm not waiting for you just for you to never arrive" I felt the tears build up in my eyes as I saw the guilt of what I said rising to their face.

Before they had time to answer, i starting speaking again, "Does our friendship even matter to you any more? It's been months Y/N? Months. Do you not get how much you mean to me? Do you not understand that I love you?"

I didn't even realise them words came out of my mouth until they looked at me, star struck. In the flash of an eye, they climbed over the counter, and hugged me like it was the last time ever. I could feel their tears on my shirt and they looked up to meet my face.

I could feel their breath on my face as we were barely a couple of centimetres away from each other's lips. I looked into their Y/E/C eyes and finally got the courage to say,

"I know you don't exactly need me anymore, but still keep me in your life somehow. For me. Please?"

I saw their eyes glance down at my lips for a second before wrapping them arms around my shoulders and chime in, "who said I didn't need you"

I couldn't take it anymore and I kissed them happily. They stood, shook for a moment before kissing back. This is what I waited for, for so long, and it was so worth it.
