[Ennard's POV]
I groaned as the call ended. Ugh, Y/N's mother sure was annoying. How did she expect me to answer her questions, if she doesn't even give me TIME to answer them in the first place?? I set Scott's phone back down, he had forgotten it last time he was here and I wasn't sure when he was coming back to get it.
"Their mother seems... pleasant." Ballora said from the doorway, frowning. I knew she was worried about Y/N, and I'm ashamed to say I was too. "Just a concerned mother is all," I started, trying to reassure the ballerina. "You'd be worried if one of your kids snuck out and didn't return until late the next morning." Ballora sighed and shook her head. "I guess you're right. Michael used to sneak out to go to parties, their mother's right to react that way." She said, seemingly staring at the wall through closed, robotic eyes, probably thinking of her son.
I walked over and placed a hand comfortingly on her shoulder, doing my best to give her a friendly smile. "You should head back to your room," I pointed out, "you're booked for a birthday party today, remember? The workers will be here any second, and you don't want an empty stage to be lifted!" Mentioning the party seemed to cheer Ballora up and she nodded, walking out. She always loved performing for children, and I'm glad she gets that opportunity.
After Ballora got back to her stage, I climbed up into the vents, heading back to the parts and services room. We still had awhile until Y/N came back, and I didn't have much to do otherwise. I wish I was able to perform, but a pile of wires and eyes with a clown mask on it would just scare away the kids and make the pizzeria lose customers. I decided to just wait and recharge, and get some rest in until 6pm.
[Y/N's POV]
I woke up a couple hours later, sore from my injuries from last night. I looked and felt terrible. I got up, heading downstairs, seeing my parents already at the TV. "We're hungry, brat. Go fix us something already." My mother spat, as my father just smiled and waved at me from behind her. I internally sighed, and turned to head into the kitchen. Grabbing some noodles and a pot, I filled it up with water and started it on the stove, setting the box of noodles next to it.
I walked to the pantry and grabbed a can of corn, heading back into the kitchen and setting it down on the counter. I waited for the water to boil, scrolling through my phone, searching how to get a bank account and license. If I was going to have a job, I was going to need both. Eventually, I put the noodles in, and turned off my phone to cook, draining the noodles and adding in sauce, before cooking the corn. I dished up the lunch and brought it to my parents, fighting the urge to spit in their food in front of them. I couldn't wait to get back to work.

Hey guys! Sorry if it sounds choppy at all, I'm at work right now and my hands are freezing. Hope you enjoy! Don't worry, they'll all be back together soon, I just needed them to have time apart to get in a longer book. Currently, I just had the best idea of my life as I poured a bottle of soda into my empty sonic cup 🤩Anyways, I was tempted to make a discord server for my writings in case anyone wanted a better place to discuss it/spam me, and to keep track of updates and which stories I write. So if you'd enjoy that, let me know!)
