Chapter 21 [The Mall]

It's been a few months since our date at Enzo's. I'm still not pregnant, but Eddie and I have gone on a few more dates. He's taken me to the movies, he's made dinner for us a few times, and we've gone to lovers lake to watch the sunset. Everything has been peaceful for a while.
It's a Wednesday morning in the middle of winter break. Eddie had to wake up super early to get ready for his Hellfire campaign. I pick up the phone and call Robin. "Hey Robin, you want to to go to the mall here in a little bit?" I ask her, still sleepy. "Yeah of course! Just give me a little bit to get a shower." She says just waking up as well. "Okay, I need to get one too, and I'm going to call Nance, see if she wants to go." I say before we say our goodbyes and hang the phone up. I call Nancy and ask her the same thing. She agrees and drives over to the trailer. I'm doing my makeup as she walks in. "I'm in the bedroom! If you're hungry you can get something out of the fridge!" I yell at her walking in the door. She walks back to the bedroom and sits on the bed behind me. "So where are we going in the mall?" She asks while looking around the room at all of the pictures of Eddie and I on our dates and all of the random ones we've taken of each other. "Just walking around, going in every store possible." I tell her as she stands up, eyeing the picture Eddie took of me in my lingerie. "What's this y/n?" She asks while pointing at it. "Nothing." I say while giggling a little bit. She walks away from the wall and sits back down. "Can I use some of your makeup? I forgot to do mine before I left." She asks. I hand her the basket and she walks into the bathroom. "Shit. Nance can you bring me my mascara?" I ask her while bending backwards on my stool. She brings the mascara into the bedroom and hands it to me. Once we're finished we call Robin and make sure she's ready. Once she is, we leave and pick her up.
Robin jumps into the car and starts talking about her new crush Vickie. She starts rambling on and on until Nancy turns around and puts her hand to Robins mouth. "You've said the same thing 50 different times Robin. How much caffeine have you had this morning?" Nancy asks her as she slowly takes her hand off of Robins mouth. "None, I just get nervous and all the words start spilling out. It's like my brain is moving faster than my mouth, or rather my mouth is moving faster than my brain." She says, starting to calm down. We drive about 15 minutes, blasting music, singing and dancing along, having a fun time until we arrive at the mall. The Starcourt mall is HUGE, we'll be here all day. We park somewhat close and head in. We start on the first floor, going into almost every store and buying almost everything we like. After a few hours, we decide to go get some lunch. We set our things down at a table, I decide to sit down so no one takes our stuff, Nance and Robin went to go and order our food. After a couple minutes I feel a light tapping on my shoulder, "Hey y/n, can we uh talk for a minute?" I hear someone say. I turn around and see Billy. "What do you want? I'm just trying to have a nice day with my friends. Please don't ruin that." I tell him, trying to walk away from him. Before I can get no more than a few steps away from him, he grabs my wrist, making sure not to hurt me. "Y/n please? I just want to talk, no arguing, just talk." He says while slowly letting go of my wrist. "Ugh fine. Sit." I say annoyed at his request. I don't want to talk to him. He trashed a store for no reason. All because of me. All because I'm with Eddie. Who wants to be with a person like that?
     We sit in silence for a few moments until I finally decided to speak up. "What do you want Billy? We can't just sit here forever." He looks up from his hands and looks me in the eyes. His eyes are filled with.. Lust? "Y/n I just want to talk to you about being with me. Giving me ONE chance." He says trying to grab my hands. I scoff and stand up. "Billy, I've had about enough of you. The only thing guys like you like is the chase. And for some reason it HAS TO BE me. I don't fucking get it." I say turning around, putting my hands on the back of the chair I was sitting in. "It's not about the chase y/n. I promise. It's you. Ever since I saw you, I've been in love with you. So please. Just leave Eddie and be with me. You know I can treat you better than he can." Billy says while standing up, walking towards me. "NO ONE can treat me better than Eddie. NO ONE! You're probably just as abusive as your father is towards you asshole. Now leave me ALONE!" I yell at him, hoping for him to finally leave me alone. I can see Billy's eyes fill up with anger until next thing I know, he's backhanding me across the face, leaving a little scratch from his ring. "And that just PROVES my point." I say grabbing Robin, Nancy, and I's things. I walk up to them still waiting in line to order our food, "Let's go. I don't want to be here anymore." I say trying not to tear up in front of everyone that just saw what happened between me and Billy.
"Oh my god y/n! Are you okay?" Both of them ask at the same time. Billy runs up to the three of us, "Y/n I'm so sorry! Please let me clean it up for you." He try's saying. Nancy catches on and walks up to him, "Leave Billy. Or else I'll put a bullet in your kneecaps." She says pushing him away. "Hold on. I want to do something before we leave." I say as Billy's walking away. I tap on his shoulder, making him turn around. "Y/n please forgive me. I don't know what happened-" He try's saying before I slap him across the face, cutting him off. "Don't bother me EVER again." I say while turning around, flipping him the finger. Nancy stands there in shock while Robin is excited. "I've NEVER seen you be this big of a badass y/n!" Robin says while we walk out of the mall. I drop them off at their houses and drive home. I walk in and go to the bathroom, the scratch isn't that bad, but makeup couldn't cover it. I try to cover it anyways, hoping that it would. After failing multiple times, I keep the makeup on and watch a movie, hoping that when Eddie got home he wouldn't notice. After watching a couple of movies Eddie finally comes home. It's about 8:45 and the sun has gone down. "Sorry I'm late sweetheart." He says while blowing a kiss to me. "Let me change and then I'll join you for the movie okay?" "Okay love. I'll be here." I say while covering my face with the blanket I have over my lap. After a few moments Eddie walks out and grabs the blanket and throws it over him and I. After finishing the movie Eddie looks over at me, admiring me. "Y/n? What's that on your face?" He asks while grabbing my cheeks and turning my head away from him to look at the scratch. "Y/n? What is this?" He asks, demanding an answer. "I had it under control Eddie, there's no need to do anything about it now." I say grabbing his hand and taking it away from my face. "Who did this?" He asks standing up now getting pissed. "Eddie it's fine. I had it under control, and still do." I say while trying to walk up to him and calm him down. "WHO FUCKING DID THIS Y/N?!" He screams at me, obviously me trying to calm him down wasn't working. "I said something about Billy's dad abusing him and how he would probably do the same thing if he was in a relationship. So he slapped me. He didn't mean it, I slapped him back though." I mumble. "THAT SON OF A FUCKING BITCH! ILL KILL HIM!" Eddie screams while walking to our room. He walks out with a baseball bat in his hand. "Eddie don't. There's no reason to get pissed off." I say stepping in front of the door. He taps my side lightly with the bat, making me move. "Stay here." He says while he grabs his car keys and storms out of the house, slamming and locking the door behind him...
