It's been a few weeks since the whole Steve thing happened. I've been back to school and Hellfire. Eddie and I have gone in multiple dates and rented movies to watch after at the Family Video where Steve and Robin work. I haven't seen Steve around but he might but be hiding from me since I DID put a knife to his throat.
It's the middle of the day, in the middle of school. I want to get the hell out of here. Fifth period JUST started and I already don't want to be here. "Math" I hear an unfamiliar voice say sitting next to me. I look over and see a new kid, apparently I missed the big announcement that the teacher always gives to new kids. "Hey pretty lady, I'm Billy." He says while holding his hand out. I can already smell tobacco cigarettes on him. Ew. "1. Don't call me pretty lady. And 2. I'm y/n." I say trying to force a smile on my face while holding my hand out. "So you're the one I've already heard so much about huh?" He says cocking his head slightly while staring deep into my eyes, trying to get behind all of the walls I've set up for new people. "And what have you heard exactly?" I ask him pulling my hand away. "That you've threatened a few people and that you've kicked a few asses. Basically a "warning" not to mess with you." He says while putting quotations around "warning." "What about it. Billy? Is it?" I say to him turning away from him and putting my headphones on.
"Y/n. Don't ignore me." I hear Billy say while trying to take my headphones off. "What do you want asshole." I say turning to him once again. "I just want to get to know you better, that's all." He says with a slight smirk on my face. I've seen that smirk before, and I'm NOT falling for his tricks. "Not happening." I say putting my walkman's volume all the way up. He can hear the Metallica playing and he finally connects the pieces. He taps my shoulder. I take my headphones off, now pissed off. I pause my music and turn to him. "I'm guessing you're Eddie's girlfriend?" He asks with another smirk on his face. "Yup. Now if you don't mind, I'm trying to listen to music." I say unpausing my walkman, turning away, and putting my headphones on. I put my head down and act like I'm sleeping so Billy will leave me alone for once since he showed up.
I didn't even hear the bell ring until someone shakes my shoulder, "waking" me up. "Y/n, wake up, the bell rang." Someone says while taking one of my headphones off of my ear. I look up to see who it was. Billy. Again. I stand up and walk into the hallway, heading to my next class until I feel someone grab my shoulder. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" I yell loud enough for everyone to hear. I turn around and see Eddie. "Woah, I'm sorry. Is something bothering you princess?" He says pulling me into a hug. "Yeah. This new kid kept bothering me during math. I had to put my head down and act like I'm sleeping just to get him to stop." I tell Eddie while pulling him into a kiss. "What's his name love?" He asks me after pulling away from the kiss. "Billy. I didn't catch his last name though." I say to him while pushing my head more into his chest. He's always comforted me if I need it. It's one of the many MANY reasons why I love him.
"Billy huh? I think I have him in one of my classes, never paid attention though." He says while pulling my chin up with his index finger and thumb. "He knows I'm yours though, and he's heard about the whole Jason and Steve thing." I say looking deep into his lust filled eyes. "Which parts sweetheart?" He asks while looking at my lips. "1. Save the staring at my lips for the bedroom Munson. And 2. He heard about me putting a knife to both of their throats and beating the hell out of a few people." I tell him as he looks back into my eyes. "Fine, I'll save it for tonight. But good, hopefully he gets the memo on not to piss you off and not to get near you. You're mine and ONLY mine." He says while winking at me as he walks us to our next class. We both turn into the classroom and see "HIM" sitting right next to my seat. "Stay here." I tell Eddie poking his chest so he listens to me. I walk up to my desk and put my things down, walking in front of the desk. "You're in Eddie's seat." I say looking down at Billy. "Oh am I?" He asks in a cocky voice and cocking his head slightly. "Yeah. Now get the fuck up before I drag you out of it." I say still looking down at him. "I'd like to see you try." He says smiling this time. I grab the collar of his white tank top and drag him to an empty seat. I make him sit down and I turn away ti grab his things. I feel a swift and slap my ass. I look over at the door, seeing Eddie still standing there, watching what's happening. I quickly turn around and ball my fist.
"Do that again and you'll see why everyone's scared of my douchebag." I say while gritting my teeth. "I would REALLY like to see that." He says while I turn around once again, grabbing his things. He does it again and I immediately turn around and slap him right across the face and grab the collar of his tank top again. I pull him close to me "Do that again and see what fucking happens dickhead. That's not the worst I can do." I say whispering into his ear. I can just feel the cold stare from him as I turn back around, grab his things, and set them down with him. I walk over to Eddie and gesture for him to come sit down. "Told you I had it." I say looking up at him and smiling. "That's my girl. By the way, what'd you whisper to him?" He asks while sitting down. "To not do it again or else he can see the worst I can do." I tell him smiling. He smiles back and wraps his hand around my waist, pulling me closer than we already were. He looks over at me and se sees that I'm already looking at him. He pulls me into a kiss and stays like that for a few seconds before pulling away.
He looks over at Billy, who's CLEARLY staring at us. "Whatcha staring at Billy?" I say leaning over Eddie to look at Billy. "Nothing, just admiring how beautiful you look right now." He says smirking. I turn away and grab a piece of paper before Eddie can react. I grab his hand to call him down because I already know his fist is shaking and his blood is boiling. "Don't give in. He's just trying to get a reaction out of you. I've dealt with assholes like him before I moved here." I write down on the paper I had grabbed. I hand it to Eddie and he reads it, almond down immediately. I put my headphones back on and put my head down once again. Once class is over, Eddie wakes me up and we walk to lunch. Billy obviously follows, not knowing where anywhere is. We walk over to our table and sit down. Dustin and Mike are RAVING about this new girl in their class. "So, what's this girls name and where's she at?" I ask Dustin. "Her names Max and she's sitting over there." He says pointing to a red haired girl sitting alone with headphones on. I walk over and tap on her shoulder.
"Hey, I'm y/n. I'm Dustin's cousin. Would you like to sit with us? I can pull up a chair." I ask sitting down next to her. "Yeah sure! Dustin seems like a great kid. Even though I got to talk to him for only a few seconds." She says standing up and grabbing my hand for me to drag her over. I can hear a faint voice from our table. "Why's she bringing Max over here?" Dustin asks Eddie. I can see Eddie shrug his shoulders. We get to the table and I grab an empty seat and set it next to Eddie. "I thought you meant pull up a chair next to you?" She asks confused. "You are next to me, I say dragging her to the chair and then sitting down in Eddies lap. "Ohhhh, so you two are a couple?" She asks still confused. "Have been for about 6 months now." I say smiling at Eddie and kissing him on the cheek. He hides his face in the magazine that he's reading to keep everyone knowing that he's a softy for me. I lean over to Max, "You see what effect I have on him?" I whisper in her ear.
Just before she can answer, we both hear footsteps coming towards us. "Max. Let's go. You're not sitting here." I hear Billy say as he grabs the back of her collar and stands her up. "Why can't I exactly?" She asks turning around at Billy. "These aren't good people." He says while glaring at me and Eddie. "They're my friends dickface." She says slapping his hand away from her shoulder. "I like you already kid." I say while standing up. I smile at her and nod my head for her to move so I can have a few words with Billy. "And who is she to you exactly?" I say trying not to get in his face right away. "He's my brother." Max says while standing next to Dustin. Billy tries to lunge for her until I put my hand on his chest, stopping him in his tracks. I can see Max jump back out of the corner of my eye. I turn to face her after taking my hand away from his chest. "Has he done this to you before?" I ask her. She slightly nods her head. I curl my finger and tell the table to come with me.
I grab Billy by the shirt and drag him outside, trowing him on the ground. I pull the knife out of my pocket and grab his shirt again before he can get away. I hold the knife to his throat, everyone tries to run to me and stop me but Eddie holds them all back. "Hurt her again and you'll be a dead man." I say to him gritting my teeth once again. "I'd rather be dead than deal with that little brat ever again." He says while trying to gain his balance on the gravel. I pull him up more and apply more pressure to his neck. "Fine then, I'll cut off your dick. No more being a man whore." I tell him while dropping him onto the ground and putting my foot in his chest. "Don't fucking hurt her again. Got it?" I say looking down at him. He doesn't answer so I apply more pressure to his chest. "GOT IT?" I scream bending down even more. "Got it." He says trying to catch his breath. "Good." I say letting my foot up and walking away. I can hear him get up and start running towards me. Just as he's about to tackle me I turn around and punch him right square in the jaw, he falls to the ground and starts spitting up blood.
     "That was SO BADASS!" Max says while jumping up and down. I walk up to her and hug her. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but as long as you're friends with us I don't think he'll bother you again. And if he does you let me know. Okay?" I say pulling away from the hug. "Okay" She says smiling at the fact that someone she just met beat up the strongest dude she knows. Everyone except Eddie and Max went back inside. Billy just got in his car and sped off like a total asshole. "You guys want to skip the rest of the day?" I ask the two standing in front of me. "Yeah but I'm driving, you know what happened last time we skipped." Eddie says grabbing the car keys out of my hands. He runs over to the car while Max and I are left behind. "What happened last time?" She asks looking over at me. "I got in a car crash with Eddie, Dustin, and Mike in the car. I had drifted off in my own world." I say looking at my feet. Still feeling like everything was my fault. Max stops dead in her tracks and stands there with her mouth open. "Are you okay now? Do you know what made you drift off? What exactly happened?" She asks me while I walk towards her. "I'm okay physically, still hurting mentally from the loss. I do know what made me drift off. And sweetheart I just told you." I say giggling a little under my breath.
     "So what made you drift off?" She asks finally starting to walk again. "I had just found out I was pregnant.. I was just listening to music and caught up in my thoughts, not paying attention to the road.. I ended up in a coma for 2 weeks." I tell her as a year starts to fall down my face. That's the FIRST time I've really talked about it with anyone besides the people that were in the car that day. Eddie sees me walking with my head down and runs up to me. "Princess? You okay? You never walk with your head down." He asks stopping me from walking any further with his hands on my shoulders. I wrap myself around him and bury my head in his chest as I start crying. "What we're you two talking about?" He says looking over at Max. "I asked her what happened the last time you guys skipped and she told me everything that happened and suddenly started crying." She says bending her knees as she's almost sitting on the ground. "I feel so bad, I didn't mean to make her upset." She day while holding her head.
I managed to stop myself from crying even more and look up at Eddie. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you love. I'm fine. I just haven't really talk to anyone else about it besides you 3." I say referring to the boys that were in the car that day. "I know honey, and you don't have to be sorry, I always worry about you." He says looking down at me, starting to tear up a little bit. He's always been protective of me, and he's always been there for me. It's what I appreciate, I never had that growing up and the fact that I found someone that loves me for me and nothing else makes me so happy. "And Max, you didn't upset me. I'm just still down from the loss." I say looking over at her, now standing up. I hold my arm out for her to join the hug, she immediately walks over and Eddie moves his arm to hug her as well.
"Where do you guys want to go?" Max asks while putting her things next to her in the backseat. "How about the mall?" Eddie asks looking at both of us. "Sounds good. We're just going to have to swing by the trailer so I can grab money." I say setting my stuff next to Max. We drive out of school and shortly after pull into the trailer park. I run out and unlock the door, walk in and grab my wallet. I quickly run into the bedroom and grab a hoodie, its getting fairly cold out lately. I run back out and jump in the car. "And you didn't grab me one?" Eddie says sarcastically. "I can go and grab you one if you would like love." I say with a cocky tone of voice and a smirk. Max and I start busting out laughing, starting to cry at both of our ugly laughs. Eddie soon joins in and we're all sitting in the car laughing. Once we all calm down Eddie looks over at me. "Seriously though, can you go grab me one please? It's cold as hell outside." He says putting his hands to his arms and rubbing them. I grab the keys and run back inside and grab another hoodie. Max already has a jacket on and she wouldn't ask for one anyways. I run back outside and jump in.
"Before we go can we stop back at my house so I can grab money too?" Max asks looking kind of scared. "Of course hun! Just tell us the address!" I say with a big smile on my face to hopefully comfort her. I already know she hasn't had the best life having to deal with Billy. "67 Maroon Ave." Max says startling me out of my thoughts. "I know EXACTLY where that's at!" Eddie says exited. We drive to Max's house. "You want me to go in with you kid?" I ask knowing Billy is home. "Yeah. Please?" She say looking in the driveway and seeing Billy's car. We both get out and walk inside, we immediately see Billy in the living room lifting weights and blasting music. He puts down the weights and sees us walk past. He swiftly smacks my ass once again as Eddie starts to walk into the house...
