Your POV

We made it onto the ship i looked at my father.

"Father!father!"I shouted.

He then woke up spitting the water out he looked at me then the crew he breathed heavily then he stood up weakly he walked over to the side of the ship it was silent till the sound of wood cracking

"Captain,the mizzin's in splinters and i don't like the main"

"She can't fight"

"Then we'll come back for the bluster when she can repairs shouldn't take too-"

"Set a course for three bridges we're going home"

He said walking to the captain quarter's.

Then I followed him I entered the room and looked around I saw him sitting on his chair and he looked down as if he realised something.

"Father?"I asked concerned.

He turned to me.

"Oh y/n it's just you"he said sighing

He then smiled weakly.

"What's wrong father?"

"Nothing sweetie could you please go get jacob for me"

I nodded then walked away I heard footsteps it was sarah we made it under the deck.

"Jacob!"

Shouted sarah.

"Captain would like a word"

"Speaking of dying a great death"

"Nice knowing you jacob"

The said laughing then followed him

"We'll think of you often and fondly"

"Shut up the lot of you!"

I shouted getting annoyed they then stayed quiet I walked up the stairs and walked to the front of the ship looking up the stars I knew that father wants to put jacob as the new captain I mean I am his daughter but i never want to become a captain because it's too much responsibility.

I then remembered the promises and memories with jacob I chuckled lightly. I remember when he promised to marry me but we were just kids then. I then went to walk away but pumped into someone i looked up and saw Jacob.

"Oh um didn't see you there"

He chuckled lightly scratching his neck i cleared my throat and walked away but jacob stoped me

"Wait y/n i wanted to thank you for saving me"

"Oh isn't that what friends do?"

"Heh yeah...friends"

I then walked away to get some shut eye.

Next day

Everybody was up and looking at the island i was next to jacob we finally made it home
