The truth

"y/n after you're done, come downstairs to the living room. there's someone i want you to meet."

30 minutes before that

[ Jonny's pov ]

'-can't believe i have to patrol at night, but it's kinda relaxing' i thought to myself while finishing up my last bit of coffee. "ahh real good." i said throwing it in the trash. 'i wonder how n/n is doing too bad i don't know who adopted her' as my train of thought stopped when i saw the pro hero: Eraserhead, fighting off a villian not too far up. 'i should help him...'

"hey need any help?" i said as he shook his head no but said "but you can assist, i need to get back to my daughter." i tilted my head cause no one knew he had a daughter but i shook it off and used my quirk to make sound knock out the thug. "that atta do it. now we can take him to the police." after 10 minutes we finally turned in the villain and was gonna go our separate ways, until he said something to me.

"hey, what's ur hero name?" he said with a tired expression on his face. "it's echo." i replied as he nodded his head and said "thank you for your assistance."

"oh it was no big deal, but i say we get coffee or tea, if you want." i said hoping to become friends with my idol. he sighs but nods his head and we walked to the nearest cafe that was still open. once we made it there we ordered our drinks and had a decent conversation. "so um eraser can you tell me about ur kid? if it's not too much information." he stared at me for what seemed to be forever but agreed.

"for starters, she's 15 and she goes to UA high school. class 1-A which is my homeroom, and shes very smart too. thats all im telling you.." he said as he stared at me.

"right so um whats her name? if you dont mind telling me ofc." i said trying to break his stare. he sipped on his coffee and took a deep breath and said "her names is.."

10 minutes later

as we walk into his house, i have to contain myself bc not only am i in my favorite hero's house.. i was about to meet my sister after 15 years.

"shes in the shower so we will have to wait sit on the couch while i change." Aizawa said as he walks to his room.

[ y/n's pov ]

'i wonder what dad wants.' i thought to myself as i comb out my hair. "y/n are you done yet?" i hear my dad's voice from downstairs. "yes im coming btw is someone else down there?" i said feeling that person's presence. "yes there is." he said.

i walk down the stairs as im trying to put my hair in a messy bun. "ugh dad can you help with my hair." i said forgetting about the other person. "sure let me see." he said and before you know it my hair was in a messy bun.

"okay now sit down so we can speak to you." my dad said as i nodded and sat down on the couch. "first this is Jonny Makino, or pro hero: echo." my father said as he looked at me. i raise an eyebrow bc its rare for him to bring outsiders in our home. "hi y/n." the guy i now know as Jonny. "hi..." i said skeptical about this conversation. i look at my dad as he begans talking. "long story short, jonny is ur brother, i adopted you when you were two weeks old but i had to wait for another week to go pick you up." he said trying not to get emotional.

"what?" i said really confused and upset. "aizawa i think you could have said it a little more softer.." Jonny said. "this has to be some sort of joke.. but know you don't joke about this stuff.." i said still trying to process what i had just been told. jonny goes on to telling me about our backstory.

"why didn't you tell me sooner... and dont say its because i was too young or i couldn't understand." i said on the verge of tears. "im sorry y/n, i really am but i didn't know you had a brother until 45 minutes ago." he said looking at me. "yea thats kinda my fault, sorry y/n." jonny said as he looked down. "so i have villain genes..." i said breaking down in tears. i ran to my room, slammed the door, and locking it.

i grabbed my phone and texted bakugo telling him im coming over and surprisingly he wasnt asleep and texted back with 'okay'. i opened my window door and jumped out(still crying). using my quirk to make a platform so i would make noise. i ran towards bakugo's house for 5 minutes, until i tripped over something and scraped my knee. 'how did i fall there's nothing here.' i thought until i felt two auras that wasn't friendly.

"whats a pretty lil girl like you doing outside at 11 pm, you do know its almost midnight." thug 1 said. i quickly stood up and tried running away because im most vulnerable when im crying. "not so fast, pretty lady." thug 2 said as he appeared in front of me. "leave me alone." i said sniffing. "awe did we make you cry." thug 2 said as both of them started laughing. i tried to runaway again by going around them but one of them had a stretching quirk and surrounded me with his long arms.

"the pretty girl is trying to get away. im afraid we cant let you do that." thug 1 said chuckling.

"and why not?" i heard a familiar voice say. i turned to see it was my dad and jonny. i was saved but how did they know. "i forgot to mention my quirk is sound manipulation so i heard you say leave me alone."

"its the pro heroes; Echo and Eraserhead." thug 1 and 2 said in one. as they were distracted, i kicked thug 2 causing him to fall back and raced to bakugo's house using my quirk.

i knocked on his door.

[ bakugo's pov ]

i rushed downstairs to open the door and when i open it.. i see y/n, crying and her leg is bleeding i let her come inside and close the door while locking it. i pick her up and led her to my bathroom and sit her on the counter. "wth happened to you.." i said while getting my med kit. she started from the beginning, still in tears. i stared at her feeling sorry for her and i started to clean her knee and bandaged it up.

"look lightbulb stop crying." i said and started giving her advice. "dont tell anyone at school about this or ill kill you." i said as she laughed at my 'threat' and said "as long as you don't anyone what i just told you." i helped her get off the counter and we sat on my couch in front of my bed and played video games until 1 am. when i looked at her she was sound asleep so i gave her a blanket and pillow so she'll be comfortable.

i grabbed her phone and texted aizawa.

Dadzawa (the contact name lol)

Me:
hey mr. aizawa. this is bakugo and im letting you know that y/n is safe and shes asleep she left one of her uniforms here so dont worry.

Dadzawa:
okay thanks bakugo, keep her safe and goodnight.

Me:
ofc and goodnight.

i turned her phone off and put it on my extra charger and went to bed. "goodnight lightbulb." i said softly and started to dose off.

(a/n) sorry i haven't posted in a while ive been busy but ill try to make it up to you guys by uploading two more chapters this week. can you guys believe summer is already over 😭 when do you guys go back to school? i go back August 22nd.
