Todoroki vs Midoriya

"THE SECOND ROUND's FIRST MATCH IS GONNA BE EPICCCCCC! ITS THE GUY WHO WON HIS LAST FIGHT BY A LANDSLIDE, THE HERO COURSES SHOTO TODOROKI. AND THIS KID ALMOST WALKED OUT ON HIS FIRST MATCH BUT MADE A STEADY COMEBACK, ALSO FROM THE HERO COURSE, IZUKU MIDORIYA." Mic said.

My classmates tensed and started talking among themselves while I just sat in silence, hoping Todoroki would listen to my words.

'if not for me, then for yourself. god what are you doing to me. i really hate this feeling.' I thought to myself.

Todoroki and Midoriya got into their fighting stances as Present Mic screamed "BEGINN!"

I took a deep breath and I started bouncing my leg, with every passing millisecond my leg bounced faster. It soon stopped as Bakugo put his hand on my lower thigh giving it a light squeeze.

I looked towards him and he was looking at me with his usual scowl that everybody knows but since I can read energy, I can tell he's concerned.

I looked away and turned my focus on the match. Todoroki started off with his usual ice barricade. Midoriya blocked it by breaking his finger. "SMASH" It went on like this until all his fingers on his right hand were broken. Todoroki used ice and ran on it to get close to him, but Midoriya smashed it with his middle finger on his left hand and broke the ice. Todoroki was about to punch him but he dodged. Unfortunately, Todoroki released his ice and caught Midoriya's foot. His ring finger started to glow signaling he was about to use it.

I shook my head at both of my friends that were on the stage fighting. "He knows recovery girl is going to heal him so he's going overboard." I said lowly but the others still heard.

"What Pro Hero is gonna want someone who breaks their bones every-time they use their quirks." I heard someone say.

I saw the glow on his finger spread to his whole arm and he punched the ice, then he SCREAMED.

Midoriya looked like he was talking to Todoroki which caused him to freeze -no pun intended-. I saw that his arm had frost creepin up and i have to admit i was worried so i stood up because i couldn't watch it anymore.

"Sit down y/n." i looked down at my best friend and then at kirishima.

Kirishima nodded and told Bakugo to chill as i walked away faster so he couldn't protest.

I made it to the restroom and looked in the mirror. 'why am i sweating so much' I grabbed a paper towel and wiped the sweat off. I studied myself im the mirror and the more I looked in it the more I realized that i was pretty, but i still couldn't help being insecure after finding out who more parents were.

I stayed in there for a while until i heard my name being called by a familiar angry voice. I walked out the restroom and started walking away with Bakugo trailing beside me.

"Why the fuck you left? Don't tell me you have a soft spot for that damn icy-hot."

I paused and looked at him. I shook my head, laughing a little. "nah dude i was getting bored"

He lifted an eyebrow but dropped it after saying im going against Todoroki if i beat Iida. "This is stressful but hey in order to become a hero, its worth it." I said smiling a bit.
