Quirk Assessment

"hey kiddo, im glad i didn't have to wake you up this time. you're a lot too handle." said my tired looking dad. "yep, fortunately i could sleep." i said looking at him with a soft smile. "you picked up my habits, good thing u got sleep today, also congratulations on making into U.A. you will be in class 1-A, my home room. "oh gosh, pls don't expel the entire class like you did last year." i said with concern.

"eh no promises. now go ahead to school I'll be there soon." he turned and said to me. "ok. cya there old man." i said with a low chuckle. "y/n don't start pls. and actually be nice to your new classmates." he said rolling his eyes. "mhm sure."

i raced out the door and before you knew it, i was there. i raced up to my class and i was the first one there i sat all the at the back because why not. a couple minutes pass by and the classroom is almost full. i notice that the navy blue haired boy was scolding bakugo for 'disrespecting' school property.

a few minutes passed and i hear the one and only Shota Aizawa speak. "if you're just here to make friends, then you can pack up your stuff now." midoriya jumped at the sound of my dad's voice and that brunette girl just said 'uh'.

my dad continued talking saying "welcome to UA's hero course." after that he said "it took 8 seconds before you all shut up. that's not gonna work. time is precious. rational students would understand that." it was a complete silence of 4 seconds until my dad opened his mouth again. "hello, im Shota Aizawa. your teacher."

he then proceeds to pull out gym clothes and tell us to put em on and meet him outside. everyone gets up and grabs them heading to the locker rooms to change. i was the last one to make it outside because i didn't wanna change infront of the girls. "y/n, you're late." i nodded my head and stood next to this dual haired boy.

"ok class we are doing a quirk assessment test." he said while others complained. the brunette girl mentioned something about an orientation and how it wasn't fair. my dad goes on about how the world isn't fair then says "bakugo you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam. what was your farthest distance throw in junior high?" he said turning to him. "67 meters, i think." bakugo said.

"right try doing it with your quirk now. anything goes as long as you stay in the circle." Aizawa- sensei said as he handed bakugo the softball. bakugo took the softball and stood in the circle and waited a couple of seconds before throwing it, as he threw it he screamed 'die' and everyone got tensed up and some even scared except the dual haired boy.

my dad turned the phone to us and showed us the score which was 705.2 meters. everyone started to say how fun it looked and how they can't wait to try it. "so this looks fun, huh?" my said said with a tone ive heard plenty of times. "-idiots. today you will compete in 8 physical tests to gauge your potential. who ever comes in last will be expelled." he said with a smirk and straight away i knew it was satire. my classmates gasped but participated. i looked at Izuku and felt he was worried about something.

50 meter run

Tenya Iida- 3.04 seconds
Tsu Asui- 3.10 seconds
Oijiro- 5.49 seconds
Ochaco Uraraka- 7.15 seconds
(not adding all)
Y/n (fl/n)- 2.08 seconds

and after the assessment we went on to the next class which was english with present mic. after english we had hero-ing 101 with all might.

"put on your costumes and meet me at ground beta." all might said. we did as we were told and again i was last one there and when i saw midoriya i sweat dropped. 'seriously izuku'. i thought to myself as everyone listened to all might explain the rules for the battle. and again Iida interrupted with a question. all might answered it with no problem as he pulled out a script and read it to explain the situation.

first battle was Bakugo & Iida VS Midoriya & Uraraka. as everyone was headed to the monitor room, i stopped by bakugo and looked at him with concern. "don't do anything stupid or foolish, got it? and i get it, im confused as well but don't kill him." i said to him as he gets less angry and calmer. "tch, whatever. he'll be fine if he dodges." I sweat dropped at that comment. i walked away and felt someone in the shadows as i walked by i stopped and seen it was the boy from earlier. "aren't you my partner for this exercise?" i asked as i noticed his hetero colored eyes. he nodded and then said "I just want you to know that i like to get things over with fast." i raised an eyebrow at this statement and walked off saying "i guess that makes the two of us."

time skip

i walk off with my partner behind me as i felt bad for izuku. as we stand near the building i form up a quick plan and discuss it with my partner whose name i now know, Shoto Todoroki. after he agrees all might says we can began. i use my quirk to locate them "fourth floor, the room to the left." i said calmly and softly. "you might wanna stand outside for this." i nodded and walked off as he started to cover the building in ice. two minutes later i hear all might say we heros won. suddenly it got hot as the building started seaming while todoroki comes out, he looks at me and nods. we walk off and get an explanation for this girl named momo on who played the roles well.

time skip

it's now late afternoon and me and Bakugo are walking off and heading towards my house. "KACCHAN, N/N WAIT." i turn my head as Katsuki continues to walk. "PLEASE i have something to tell you guys." izuku says which catches bakugos attention and he stops and stands next me. " what is it midoriya?" i asked with disappointment in my voice. he then proceeds to tell us that his quirk is a borrowed one and doesn't have control over it yet. bakugo spaz out at him. we turned to leave as i said "izu we aren't dumb like you think we are... im really disappointed that you hid your quirk from me when i been nothing but nice to you."

i feel a sad presence and also an encouraging one. soon enough a hand is on my shoulder and the other is on bakugo, i then here all might's voice as he tries to cheer up bakugo. "get your damn hands off of me all might." bakugo said fighting back his tears. all might did as he said and removed his hands from bakugo. "thx all might but we are gonna go now." i said in which he nodded.

once we made it to my house, bakugo tells me that he'll see me tmr and walks off. "bye kat.." i whispered as i entered my home. i took off my shoes and headed upstairs to my room to take a shower.

"y/n after you're done, come downstairs to the living room. there's someone i want you to meet."

(a/n) hey y'all this is a bit longer than the rest so bare with me because im trying to make it to the interesting parts of the story. hope you enjoyed it.
