Warning: mentions of abuse and eating disorder

"CHRISTINA! WHAT HAVE I SAID ABOUT EATING! YOUR NOT ALLOWED ANY UNHEALTHY SNACKS LIKE THAT!" Chrissys mother yelled at her as she walked in to her room, seeing Chrissy eating a small bag of crisps.

"But I'm hungry...."Chrissy whispered holding back tears. Her mom just ignored her, marched up and snatched the bag out of her hands and slammed the door as she left.

"YOU'LL HAVE NO DINNER NOW!" Chrissy heard her mom call from the kitchen.

Chrissy sat in silence for a while, she wished she had someone to talk to. Jason wasn't much use, and the other cheerleaders said she should be lucky to have a mom that helps her diet....if only they knew.

Byt then a thought came to her. There was someone.

"Eddie." She muttered.

Without thinking she slipped on a black hoodie and leggings and tip toed down the stairs to the front door.

Thankfully no one heard her and she managed to escape freely.

As she made her way over to Eddie's trailer she began to recount there previous interactions.

In the end Eddie refused to give her anything stronger, saying it was "to dangerous" and that he could and would never forgive himself if something went wrong.

After that they kinda hung out more?
Depends how you define hung out though.
Passing in the hallways he would always flash that bright smile he had at her.

Whenever she would be at the cafeteria, Eddie would slide next to her as she got her food. Shoulder always touching, making her laugh.

What made her laughe and definitely blush the most is whenever he made his political statements at lunch he would always end it with doing that devil face to Jason but would then blow a kiss to Chrissy.

Just thinking about it made her smile to herself.
Finally she arrived and walked up the steps to the door.

Wait, what was she doing! Was she reading to much into there funny interactions? Would he be pleased to see her? Well I'm here now arnt i? Chrissy thought and knocked on the door.

No answer.
She knocked again. No answer.
It was getting pretty cold now so Chrissy tried the door. To her suprise it swung open.

"Only Eddie wouldn't lock a front door" She giggled to herself as she stepped in.

"Eddie? ....its me ...Chrissy? Ya know...from school?' She called and no answer.

She found some lights and switched them on. The place was a heap of mess. But she liked it, it was refreshing compared to her "had to be perfect bedroom."

As she looked around it was clear Eddie wasn't home. Then chrissy remembered, Dnd. He probably had a campaign going on.

Should she just leave? No. Her parents would have already noticed she was gone by now. If she went back home, abuse would just be waiting for her. So she decided to stay and wait for Eddie.

As the minutes past by she became increasingly tired. Yawning she got up and made her way to his bedroom. She laughed seeing all the posters scattered on the walls.

Wanting to have a lie down, she looked about for some comfy cloths to sleep in. The only thing she found was an old oversized hellfire t shirt.

She slipped it on and climbed into his bed, to tired to properly consider what she wad doing.

The smell of cigarettes and alcohol roamed around on the sheets. She didn't mind though, it reminded chrissy of him.

Time skip

Chrissy woke up the sound of the door slamming and multiple voices talking or shouting...or singing? Well to the sound of drunk voices.

She sat up on the bed quickly, a sudden realisation of the situation she was in.
She. Chrissy, Queen of Hawkins High.
Was in Eddie the freak Munsons bed, wearing his shirt. At night. Late at night.

Before she could think anymore she heard footsteps coming over tk the door.

"Yea yea! Quiet down! I'll get my guitar now!" She heard Eddie speak.

The door nob turned and the door opened, Eddie's smiling face dropped, his eyes meeting her worried one's.

"S-suprise?" She spoke nervously

He just stared at her, extremely confused but also transfixed by her beauty, he had never seen her hair down before, it looked so soft the way it tumbled over her shoulders, messy yet still refined.

He went to speak but was stopped by yelling coming from the other room.

"EDDIEEE! HURRY UP!"

"Just...just wait here!" He whisper yelled at chrissy. "I'll get rid if them now."

He spoke before rushing out and closing the door.

After that chrissy heard some complaining and light arguing, one sentence stood out from them all though.

"What'sthe Matterrrr Eddie? It's not like you have a girl here!" One slurred out.

"Jusy get outta here Gareth, Jeff, just..
I'm just tired"

Chrissy heard the door slam shut and Eddie walked into the room.

"Hey." He whispered, nervously sitting at the edge of the bed, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Hi." Chrissy spoke looking down, she could smell the stench of booze on his cloths causing her to cough.

"Gee sorry, been out drinking with my mates." Eddie laughed awkwardly.

They both sat there nervously.

"So." Eddie began. "I walk into my trailer and find you, Chrissy  Queen of Hawkins High, in my bed, in my hellfire shirt.  Not in her own bed, in her own shirt, not even in her boyfriends bed in her boyfriends shirt but in mine. So I guess that question I'm wondering is....why?"

"Cause your the only one I can talk to, and me and Jason...are kinda taking  a break, het got 'tired of all my problems' " She whispered, head down embarrassed "But if you want me to leave-"

She was stopped by a hand gently holding her chin and lifting it up.
She was met with Eddie's eyes staring at her, a soft smile on his face.

"I don't want you to go".

She smiled at him releaved. Chrissy explained everything to him. Eddie sat and listened carefully.

"You must be exhausted." He chuckled at the end seeing her yawn. She just nodded.

"C'mon lie down then." He smiled getting up as she got under the covers.

"Where are you going?" She asked seeing him go to leave the room.

"I was gonna sleep on the couch?"

"Can't you stay?" She asked nervously.

Eddie just smiled and nodded laying next to her, he protectivly wrapped his arms around her waist and she turned to face him.

"Hey Eddie?" She spoke, there lips almost touching.

"Yea?"

"We should do this more often."

Eddie smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"We definitely should."
