Adrenaline junkie Indiana from Ani-One
There's a peacefulness in their surroundings that seems out of place for Florida. He wasn't entirely sure where they were but Florida had convinced Indiana to join him.
The sun is warm on his skin and his surroundings are bright and inviting.
"Just a little farther." Florida says from his side and he nods, still taking in the surroundings.
There isn't a could in the sky and the trees are a beautiful shade of green. He walks even after Florida stops, only pausing when Florida stops him.
"We're here." He glances up to a large cliff and his brows furrow.
"Where is here?" Florida does not reply, already making his way up.
He looks back once before a light breeze passes through, shaking the leaves on the trees and urging him forward.
It isn't long before they're at the top and he and Florida are staring down at a large body of water.
"What now?" The height is dizzying and the smell of nature surrounding him feels like home.
"We jump."
He turns with wide eyes, "I'm sorry?"
Florida gives a lazy grin and replies, "We jump." At Indiana's hesitation he continues, "It's completely safe, my friend and I have been doing it for years, I thought you'd like it."
"Why?" There's distrust in his tone that doesn't seem to bother Florida, who shrugs.
"I can go first, if you want." His eyes find their way to the cliff's edge and he worries at his lower lip, considering. "Here, watch."
He does as Florida takes a running start and leaps off, flipping into the water with practiced ease. There's a second of silence filled with sickening anxiety that threatens to suffocate him before Florida shoots up, laughing.
He gestures for Indiana to join him. Indiana swallows the remaining panic back and dives.
The wind in his hair and jolt of adrenaline that rushes through him is something he hopes he won't forget.
The water is perfect, cool against the warm sun and kind to him as he rushes to surface.
He comes up with joy radiating off of him, puffing up from his chest and spilling out in laughter that seems to be infectious as Florida begins laughing shortly after.
"See?" Florida says, making his way out, "it's fun, right?"
He nods and follows suit.
Florida stretches, then gives him a large grin that promises a thrill, "want to go again?"
