Tw: mentions of death & murder, alcohol
I want to write a goose good duck chapter but I feel like it'd be boring to read, thoughts?
Goose goose duck
Florida is one of the best states at this game because
he recognizes everyone's patterns and knows how to use that to cause chaos.
If he wants someone to win, they'll win. There are two roles he'll sing to himself on, pelican and dodo.
Pelican so if he doesn't hear people over whichever states he ate talking to him it doesn't look suspicious and dodo so people think he's pelican and vote him.Florida, as dodo: [singing "That's Amore"]
Tennessee walking by and hearing him: [calls a meeting and gets him voted out]
Florida, as pelican: [singing "That's Life"]
Tennessee, walking away from him: nope, not falling for that again
Florida, the second he's out of earshot: [giggling]Him and Indiana team up whenever they play together.
He knows his partners will listen to him when it comes to voting for someone or killing them and uses it.
When the dueling dodo role came out, he killed the other dodo in the middle of a big group and pretended he didn't expect to get caught.
It was over in one round.Rhode Island and New Jersey usually travel together.
They help each other with roles sometimes. When one gets a duck role and the other doesn't, the other will be their cover story.
They'll act upset if one is revealed to be a duck and didn't tell them.
They call a meeting if they ever go too long in one round without seeing the other at some point.
They're both very quick to accuse when one is killed. They both got dueling dodos once and refused to kill the other. New York sheriff killed New Jersey and Rhode Island used it to win.
Gov teams up with Florida whenever he's a duck because he knows Florida is willing to help but he's also learned to use the chaos to his advantage.
The first time IDC played she got dodo, and was promptly eaten by Gov. She refused to play with him after, only caving when Florida offered to get rid of him in the first round.
Florida can usually guess the mimic quickly when the role is activated. The only exceptions are Gov and California, who always find a way to confuse him (and have caused more than a few failed assassinations).
They've played it as a drinking game too.
Florida ended up getting drunk and revealing his role with a, "ASS ASS in haha," and fake crying when he got voted out (he took CDC out with him).CDC got duck three times in a row at the start and spent the last few games giggling with Florida or telling Mississippi how pretty he was or how much they loved him (then hysterically telling any state that stopped to listen, "It's Mass! It's Mass! He's evil! He killed my magnolia! He killed my magnolia!" after Mass got tired of it and sheriff killed Mississippi (who'd been stuck with the goose role for several rounds until that one)).
Texas and California stuck together and laughed at states struggling with tasks (Oklahoma) or at Rhode Island and New Jersey tailing Utah and joking about his character's outfit choice ("you look like a dad," New Jersey would snicker, and each time, without fail, Utah would reply, "I'm keepin' it real," in a voice he knew would get a smile from the two and continue his tasks).
New York would occasionally pass by with DC, put his character's beak by theirs and make a "mwah" sound, then continue on his way, with DC chattering on beside him.
One round Florida and Oklahoma were arguing near the meeting button with a bunch of states surrounding them. Oklahoma made a comment about Florida's cosmetic choice and in retaliation, Florida used his sheriff ability. He turns out to be right and the states that were aware of his role immediately begin freaking out about it, as somebody reports it, New Jersey and Rhode Island use their duck roles (they get away with it, the meeting that follows is very chaotic).
Gartic Phone
Florida usually tries to do the prompts justice. If he doesn't, he uses really simple stick figures and shapes for things that need more detail, and a lot of detail on things that need less, to see how that affects their translations.
New Jersey and Rhode Island are some of the most immature playing gartic phone.
Gov's drawings are always pretty good. His prompts never fail to make other states laugh either.
Every once in a while someone will confuse his and Florida's prompts.
His and Florida's always animate the best.
New York and Massachusetts can be heard snickering to themselves whenever they make what they think is a particularly funny prompt or drawing.
A lot of name dropping, a lot. Usually Florida, sometimes Gov or California.
Florida pretends he's surprised whenever he gets named dropped but he's always very exaggerated.
