Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the White Gem

Chapter 4

I just want to say, it's good to be back.

Jack walked into the forge and looked around, trying to find a way to break his cuffs. He spotted a hammer and took it when he suddenly heard snoring and found an old man sitting on a chair with an empty bottle of rum in his hand. Jack walked up to him and turned away but decided to have some fun.

"HELLO!" He yelled; he was given no response. He frowned and walked away. He finds an anvil and tries to break his cuffs with the hammer with no success. He looks up and sees the bellows wheel and next to it was a donkey who had a rope attached to it (I honestly feel bad for this donkey).

Jack grabs a hot metal rod from the forge and walks up behind the donkey, "It's nothing personal." and pokes it into the donkeys... behind?

The donkey screams in pain (I'm so sorry my friend) and starts walking and it allows Jack to break his cuffs with a turning gear. He looks at the donkey, "Thanks buddy." He hears the door move and immediately jumps behind a pile of blacksmith tools.

In comes Hiccup Haddack who looks around the room and sees the donkey running and walks up to it. He calms him down, "It's okay Sven, don't worry." He looks at the old man, "Right where I left you." he chuckles and walks up to the anvil and finds a hammer, "Not where I left you." He feels uneasy and spots a hat on his work bench and tries to grab it when a sword slaps his hand.

He pulls back fast and sees Jack pointing a sword at him, "I'm guessing you're the pirate they're looking for." He says as Jack steps forward and Hiccup steps back away slowly. "Do I know you?" Jack asks, Hiccup replies, "I think I would remember a guy wearing a pirate outfit with white hair." he replies sarcastically, Jack just smirks, "True. Well thank you for your hospitality. I'll be making my way out now." he turns to the backdoor.

When he turns Hiccup immediately grabs a sword with his left hand off the rack and points it at Jack who turns back, "You sure you wanna do this? Cross blades with a pirate?" He asks with a smile. Hiccup looks back with a glare, "You threatened Rapunzel." Jack slides his blade against Hiccup's. "Only a little."

He tries to cut Hiccup's left leg, but Hiccup parries and Jack goes for some more hits which Hiccup parries almost perfectly and Jack smiles, it's been a while since he's had a good fight. Hiccup goes on the offensive and tries to stab Jack who parries and blocks Hiccup's next hit which almost cut off his head, "Your good, I'll give you that. And your left-handed, so that makes you a little harder. But how's your footwork?" Jack takes a step to his right, "If I step here-" as he goes for another slash on Hiccup who parries, "Good, and now I step again." as he circles around Hiccup he launches attacks at him, which Hiccup parries. Jack goes for one more slash to Hiccup's left leg but is parried. "Thanks, that was fun." he said with a grin as sheathes his sword and heads for the exit. Before he could reach the handle Hiccup throws his sword at the door's lock right next to Jack's head.

Jack looks at Hiccup and then back the sword and tries pull it out, but it wouldn't budge. He looks back at Hiccup with an annoyed look, "Okay, that was pretty cool, but also pretty stupid." He says as he walks over to Hiccup and pulls out his sword, "Now you have no weapon and you're in between me and my way out." Just as he says that Hiccup pulls a hot sword out of the forge with a smirk, " You sure?" He sarcastically asks. "I hate you." Jack deadpans as Sven starts to run again, he's been through so much.

Hiccup goes for a slash, Jack parries and causes sparks to fly off of Hiccup's sword who lunges at Jack, who parries at the last second and raps his broken shackles around Hiccup's sword and locks blades with him, Hiccup pushes back but Jack pulls Hiccup's sword from his grip and goes for a neck slash but Hiccup dodges and grabs another sword while Jack tries to go on the offensive, "Who makes all these?' he asks as he sees the dozens of swords around, "I do!" Hiccup says as he blocks and slashes at Jack again, "And I practice with them-" Jack parries and tries to stab Hiccup, "-four hours a day!" he finishes and blocks the stab and dodges as Jack tries to throw a sword at him, "You gotta get yourself a girl, mate" Jack says as Hiccup dodges a slice to the head.

They fight their way back to the center of the forge as Hiccup grabs another sword and starts to duel wield. "Or maybe the reason you practice four hours a day is because you already found one but are unable to woo the girl." he says with a smirk until a thought comes to his head, "You're not gay right?" he asks and Hiccup responds, "I practice four hours a day so that when I meet a pirate, I can kill them! Also, no!" As he pushes him back on a ramp with on wheel in the middle. The ramp's brace breaks, and it starts to seesaw as they resume they're duel.

Hiccup goes for a right slash but Jack raps his broken shackle around Hiccup's sword but then Hiccup stabs his sword into an overhead beam above them pining Jack's left arm as he tries to cut Hiccup who just steps back with a grin until Jack steps on a loose wooden board, hitting Hiccup under his chin knocking him off the seesaw. Jack hangs his whole body up and tries to pull the sword attached to his arm out of the beam. Hiccup gets up and back onto the seesaw as Jack finally pulls out the sword and falls back onto the seesaw catapulting Hiccup into the air as he steps back into the seesaw and spots Hiccup in the rafters and smirks, but it is quickly wiped off his face as Hiccup cuts a rope releasing a barrel onto the seesaw launching Jack up into the rafters as well.

Jack holds onto the rafter, "This is getting way too out of hand." he mutters to himself as he balances himself on the rafter and sees Hiccup on another one next to him. Hiccup jumps to Jack's but Jack jumps to his and they go back and forth until Hiccup just moves his hip causing Jack to jump onto his and he frowns, he just got played.

Hiccup thrusts at Jack who parries and counter attacks as they balance on the beam, and they throw multiple attacks at each other until Hiccup disarms Jack who jumps down. Hiccup follows and goes for a killing blow, but Jack grabs a bellow and sprays Hiccup with soot blinding him, it was highly effective. Jack kicks Hiccup's sword out of his hand and pulls out his flintlock pistol and points it at Hiccup who just grabbed a hammer.

Hiccup looks at Jack with a confused look, "You had that the whole time?!" He asked, "Um, yeah?", Jack says. There's banging on the front door as Hiccup blocks the back exit, "Move!" Jack yells but Hiccup doesn't, "No." he says simply. Jack rolls his eyes, "Please move?" he asked, "No!" Hiccup yells back, "I can't just let you leave and escape." Jack sighs and cocks the pistol, "This shot wasn't meant for you." he says with a glare. Hiccup frowns confused. But before Jack could shoot, he is hit on the back of the head by glass, and he falls forward and reveals the old man holding a broken bottle.

The door finally open and redcoats rush in along with Eugene as they point they're rifles at Jack who is on the floor unconscious. "Excellent work, Mr. Levi. You just aided in the capture of a dangerous fugitive." Eugene says, "Just doing my civic duty, sir." Says Mr. Levi as Hiccup rolls his eyes. "Well, I hope that you will all remember this as the day Captain Jack Frost almost escaped. Take him to the gallows." He ordered.

Finally! I'm back and I've never felt better! I know it took me while to return but I hope you can all still enjoy this chapter. I'm going to try and go back to my weekly update schedule but on promises. And if you have any advice, please let me know. I'm not even close to being the best fanfic writer.
