"You want ME to help you break into a masquerade ball?" Loser scoffed after the 17-minute detailed explanation. "Technically, yes. But this isn't your modern-day ball." Anshu replied. "It's filled with people who think like you, act like you." Cassandra contradicted spitefully. Loser raised an eyebrow. "You're not saying it in the past tense. But yes, I did get intel on a ball celebrating some stupid kid getting kidnapped." "Well, there you have it. I presume he'll know how to get in?" Luoxia stated in her English accent, secretly eyeing Loser from her corner. "And yeah, I do know to get in. Nice work little snowflake." He said smirking at Luoxia, who turned bright red. "You're welcome. And don't call me little snowflake." She said in a dangerous tone, though for some reason, the name sounded familiar.  Loser shrugged and continued. "I have connections with one of Diomhair's dwarves, Stinky Toes or something. He knows when it'll be held." Everyone looked at Mahi as he spoke, and she nodded that he was telling the truth. Loser continued. "Saturday, 9 pm. We need to blend in to sneak in since it's a masquerade ball. I heard y'all wanna get a key from some vault, so, we need a diversion as an excuse to distract her since you guys mentioned she's going to check the vault every 15 minutes to make sure it's there. Very protective over it, huh? And I already have a diversion in mind. I need someone to help me portray a couple who's approaching Laila about work matters. What about you, little snowflake?" Loser grinned. "Fine. But only for the mission. And I already told you to not call me that!" Luoxia growled. "Maybe me, Jiti, Mittu, and Gagana could have disguises too. We need a few people to come in and help us keep an eye out as well. What I mean is that in case your diversion doesn't work, Nandini could help and cause a distraction, or if the plan backfires, Anshu and Gayatri can step in. Anshu could put everyone to sleep, and Gayatri could use her inventions. You can never have too many backup plans." Kuttu said with a shrug. "Okay then. The rest of us will stay here in case Salzar or Wong Chi decides to attack again. We'll be prepared too."

"Thank you, Mahi. I also have Moraksins as there are still hypnotized Luoxes out there. The population is quite big, so we must be prepared for that." The walker added quietly, fingering her locket, which suddenly glowed grey. She let out a cry and fell to the floor, and everyone rushed to help her. She stayed in bed for the rest of the day and seemed to have very bad dreams, as she kept tossing and turning in her sleep. Kuttu and Luoxia watched her as she tossed and turned, while Lil'ta continuously kept on putting wet towels on her forehead. "What are we going to do?" Luoxia whispered, suddenly in a very scared state, which was quite in contrast to her usual strength when things went wrong. "Continue with the plan. The walker would want us to. I don't know when she'll be okay but right now, we need to go on with things." Kuttu said quietly. Luoxia nodded. As Kuttu left to tell the others their decision, Luoxia was left alone in the corridor. Suddenly, a hand swooped over her mouth and she screamed, only to realize it was just Loser, laughing his head off. "What is wrong with you, for God's sake?"  "Jeez, you really are a nervous wreck. Then again, you seem like the type, little snowflake," Loser smirked. Luoxia raised an eyebrow. "Hey, don't call me that, for the third time, only my-," Luoxia stopped and looked at him. "Wait...do I know you? Oh my goodness," Luoxia gasped. Through the smirks and handsome looks, she remembered that one of her childhood friends just so happened to have the same manner and the exact blue eyes. His name was..."LEO?!" Luoxia squealed. She lost her don't-care attitude and hugged him tightly. He smiled and hugged her back. "Hi, Lu. Miss me?" He whispered in her ear. "Missed you?! Where did you go? Why did you leave? I missed you so much!" She said. Then she punched him in the stomach. "I looked for you everywhere after you left the orphanage! I thought you died! Now one of my friends happens to know you and you were in love with her AND you changed your name?? And what were you doing in prison?!" Luoxia yelled. Leo's face suddenly became solemn, and his eyes grew soft. "I'm sorry, Lu. I wish I could tell you everything as we used to when we were kids. But, I can't." Luoxia sighed and looked to the floor as he spoke.  Luoxia nodded. "Goodbye, Leo." She said quietly, and walked down the hall, leaving Leo to his thoughts.
