Chapter 4: 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙱𝚎𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙾𝚏 𝙰𝚕𝚙𝚑𝚊𝙿𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚖

Nobody's POV:

It's been days since Max's disappearance; the sisters have been searching day and night but have found nothing. The sister started to worry about their brother. Gabby has been having anxiety and nightmares thinking about Max, while Liz has been searching through the web and contacting people about him, but nothing has come up about him.

"Dammit!! Nothing of him Gabby I-I have searched everything and called people, but nothing appeared. Gabby, what do we do?" Liz asked her sister. "I don't know, I mean for a week I thought he was exploring or pretending he was on some kind of adventure, but now that we can't find him I don't know what to think anymore. "Gabby said while looking out the window. "For some reason I can still feel him, his magic even," Gabby said, gripping her shirt.

Gabby looked out the window again and saw something terrible. She ran outside and looked to see a storm brewing its way toward them, but this storm was different: the clouds were pitch black, so dark that you couldn't see anything. " Hey Liz, you might wanna take a look at this," Gabby yelled; her sister ran out of the house where she was and looked at the storm. "Looks like we got trouble coming. We need to head back to the house," Liz said. Gabby looked back to see dark spirits coming from this storm.

"Liz, you got weapons to stop them?!." Gabby said while running. "Stop what? -OH MY GOD!" Liz yelled while running faster. They made it to the house and went down to their weapons cupboard. Once they got their weapons, they rushed outside to see someone standing up on a hill laughing. "Go, my minions destroy them." The mysterious man said as the spirits began to form into human figures and started to run towards the sister.

"Alright Liz, let's do this," Gabby said, getting into a battle position. "Right." Liz did the same as her sister. They dashed toward the spirits and attacked them. Liz held onto her swords and began slicing some goons, then they vanished. Magic was built into the blades to make critical hits on the goons.

Gabby tested the new guns her sister made her. "Alright let's test these puppies out." She said as she pulled them out and got ready to fire them.

"Take this bitch!," she said hitting on the spirits, then they vanished. "Wow these damn things work, impressive, my sister is a genius," she said as she laughed. The eight spirits started running towards Gabby. "Huh y'all wanna dance with me, fine *she laughs* let's dance," she said as she jumped in the air dodging all of the spirits colliding into one another; they all looked up at her. Gabby moved her body in a twist and started spinning in mid-air shooting at them all to disappear but one. 

"You like that, well how about this!" She said as she kicked the last spirit in the face; it fell on the ground, making it disappear into thin air. "Huh that was very easy, was that all you got pal?" she said to the mysterious man. He laughs "No dear child, but I can tell you and your sister are very strong," he said sincerely. "Who the hell are you!" Gabby said, pointing one of her guns at the man aggressively.

"The name's Icarus but with my little host here" he shows half of his face with Max covered with magic, crying in fear. "H-help me sis...," he said, breathing very slowly. " You can call us Chronus," he said darkly to the sisters. They looked at each other and then looked back at him. "Why are you here?" Liz questions Chronus. "And WHY do you have our Brother!" Gabby said aggressively. "I'm here to take over this world, to claim it as mine. Since my brother Cornelius is no more I have the power to take over any world, but this one in particular. As for your brother, he will be my host and I will use his power as mine to become stronger by taking every single bit of magic of every world in the universe!!" he then laughed.

The sisters looked at each other with concerned faces, then looked back at him. Glaring at him, he continued "Hehe, now I'll shall be going I don't want to waste all that magic on you two..." He replied in a deep sinister voice and vanished into thin air.

Once he had disappeared, Gabby then punched the ground in anger. "DAMMIT! First mom and dad; now this?!?!" Tears started to form from the corner of her eyes. "Gabby..." Liz spoke " NO DON'T GABBY ME! HE IS GONE. J-Just like them...I-" She then starts sobbing on the ground. "What should we do...." Gabby asked her sister. "I-I don't know this is so fast..." Liz sat next to Gabby and leaned on her shoulder. "But I know one thing Gabs, that your mind is bright...just like mine is...I know somewhere in your mind, you might devise a plan to get our brother back. Trust me ok?" Liz spoke, reassuring her sister that everything gonna be ok. Gabby sighs. "Alright, thank you, sis, "Gabby said, hugging her sister. Liz thanked her back by hugging her. "Now, let's head home, ok?" Liz said as she stood up and held her hand for her sister. "Ok..."
Gabby grabs her hand and heads back home with her sister.

Thoughts were coursing through their heads that night. Liz tried to go to bed, but she couldn't; the concept of Max gone broke her even more than the death of her parents. While Gabby, all I can say is she has been crying to her music as she thought of her brother. Her parents and now her brother. What did god or whoever made this world hate them so much?

Gabby's POV:

"What did I do to deserve this....?", She thought. "I failed you brother... I'm sorry...hic  I'm so sorry...I wish you were here...it was never your fault...it...it was him." She then balls her hand into a fist. "I need to figure out a way to get him back, but how?" She thought for a moment and then got an idea, which took all night to think and plan out. A leader, brains brawn, ace, healer, and the brave. A team that's skilled to fight evil, and restore balance, but also to save the people they care about. A team...called AlphaPrism.
