Aunty Laura came back the next day with two boxes of my clothes and a gift card for some store Chrissy shops at.

"Sorry." She said with a sigh. I knew it wasn't mum but maybe grandma said something to her.

"Why thank you aunty Laura, what a kind gesture. Come on Chrissy let's go spend this voucher." She blinked as I settled down the boxes grabbing hold of her hand and taking her with me to my car. Laura stood by the front door still glaring at me as I left with her daughter.

"I still can't believe you stood up to my mum like that." Chrissy laughed while slurping a cold drink as we shopped.

"Yeah well, she did take half of my clothes which cost a pretty penny. Anyone would be pissed. Does this suit me?" I dramatically held up a hot pink puff dress which made Chrissy almost spit her drink out.

"Gosh no." I laughed putting it back on the rack. "So what happened at the summer house? Sneak any beers again." I poked my tongue out to her and Chrissy smiled as I snatched her drink taking a sip.

"No, dad finally agreed to let me drink every so often under supervision so I stopped stealing. But I did have a thing." I said while finally seeing a skirt id wear and pressed it against my hips to look at.

"A thing meaning... A summer fling." when I nodded she gasped since it wasn't often I was into anyone. "Tell me all about it! Name."

"Eddie." She nodded.

"Uh is he older oh and where does he live!" I shook my head at her now grabbing a pair of shoes.

"Yes he's turning 20 soon and I'm not sure where he lives. We agreed since we wouldn't see each other much not to get too personal. I'm sure my mum knows more about them since his uncle came to dinner a few times." She pouted at me.

"Really? You can do long distance." She said holding up a cute cropped sweater which I grabbed.

"Not after all the sex we had. It wouldn't be the same." She gasped shoving me.

"Oh my gosh. (y/n) not here." I grinned at her chuckling.

Eddie was distraught when not getting a call from the first girl he thinks he was in love with his whole life. She said she'd call after getting home. Did she lose the note? Was she not interested anymore? Did something happen to her car?

"Hey, Eddie you alright?" Jeff asked while they were all setting up to practice but Eddie was sitting by the garage door looking out at the clouds.

"He's daydreaming about his imaginary girlfriend." Gareth fake swooned until Eddie groaned. His head hitting the metal wall behind him.

"Shes fucking real man and we boned every day for almost two months. Now I'm stuck here instead of waiting for her to call." They all looked at one another before chuckling quietly.

"Look you've been gone two months on that work trip your uncle took we need to practice alright? One hour man that's all we ask." Eddie mopped for a moment longer before standing and took his guitar to start practice.

"Fucking finally."

Fuck he was out of it. One day away from this girl and he feels sick.

"So he's super hot, has your whole aesthetic and is good in bed. Why are you not totally in love?" Chrissy asked and I sighed. "Oh, you are???" Her smile grew and I rolled my eyes.

"No, I was only two months and we moved so it just won't work." Her smile stayed as she leaned in closer to me as I drove us back to her house. "But yes I have feelings for him." She giggled clapping her hands.

"Tell me you'll try to call him when you get home. He clearly likes you, he gave you his number." I stopped the car and she got out. A short sigh left me. "Promise."

"I promise. Hey, my cars going to get serviced tomorrow, any chance you can drive me to school?" Chrissy nodded.

"Yep of course. Bye." She waved as I drove off down the road and stayed in the same spot until I rounded a corner.

Doing as she asked I pick up the phone dialling the number but there wasn't any answer. Maybe he wasn't home? What if the number was wrong? Is that an eight or zero? A sigh passed my lips, no need to stress about it right now. I'll just call tomorrow after school. going back to my room I spent the afternoon going through my boxes finishing up unpacking before school started.
