Chapter seven

After the fiasco at my place, the next day at school Chrissy was quick to find me while I was at my locker getting ready for English class.

"I'm so confused." She said in a hushed tone. "The Eddie you dated over summer break is Eddie Munson and now you two are a couple?" Sighing lightly hitting my head lightly on my English book I nodded.

"Yes. I'll explain it all to you over the phone tonight alright." Jason came over looping his arm with Chrissy.

"Morning (y/n)." He gave me a curt nod before tugging Chrissy away. She looked back at me before they went around the corner down the hall to her locker. Mine was suddenly shut next to me.

"Jesus Christ Eddie. Fucking hell." He chuckled grinning ear to ear.

"Come on we have English together." Eddie took hold of my textbooks and bag leaving me to walk beside him.

"You really don't need to do that." His smile didn't falter.

"Well, I kinda do. Forgot my English textbook at home so we'll need to share." scoffing at him nudging Eddie's shoulder he laughed once more before opening the English classroom door for me.

After chemistry, Chrissy went off to find her other friends before practising at lunch. Sounds stressful and problematic to eat then tossing yourself in the air. So I walked to the cafeteria alone and got my lunch like normal.

Her skirt was so short today. If (y/n) even bent over you could see the lacy underwear you'd always wear that drove Eddie wild. When spotting her walking through the cafeteria Eddie fidgeted in his seat.

"What's got you all giddy?" Jeff asked still chewing on his mac and cheese. All their eyes went to Eddie.

"Probably his 'girlfriend'." Dustin joked laughing with Mike until Eddie screeched his chair to stand up. "What is he doing?" Then all Eddie did was stroll his way over to the girl in question.

Eddies arms wrapped around my shoulders.

"Come on sweetheart I know you don't like sitting with the jerks on the other table. Other than your cousin." I sighed, I did hate everything about them. Including their dating choices. Which were half the girls talked about.

"Alright just don't go complete geek on me ok." The boys on the table had their mouths wide open as Eddie nudged one to the side so I could sit closer to Eddie and when sitting down no one said anything.

"So everyone this is (y/n) my girlfriend." One guy, Gareth whos in my chemistry class dropped his spoon on the table.

"What did he bribe you?" He got hit in the shoulder by Eddie. I just chuckled to myself starting to eat.

"I got free weed for life and he hooked me up with a tattoo artist who will give me a huge snake tattoo right up my..." Eddie placed a hand on top of mine.

"She's joking obviously." My tongue went between my teeth as I grinned.

"Yeah, I can't smoke weed. It's the one rule in my house. The tattoo part is true though." They all chuckled just before a call of my name was heard.

"(y/n)." Chrissy stood awkwardly near the table fidgeting. "Tessa needs some help." I arched an eyebrow to see her not far away looking rather uncomfortable. Knowing what it meant I nodded standing up.

"I'll uh be back. Coming Chris." Grabbing my bag and a pretzel packet from Eddie's tray I pecked his lips before walking off with her.

"Dude, what the hell was that?" Mike whispered shouted to Eddie who was still smiling watching (y/n)s skirt sway as she left. He swore she did this on purpose.

"Eddie." Dustin hissed and it struck him out of the daze he was in. "The chick just kissed you and it didn't look forced."

"I'm not bribing her idiots. We are dating remember when I told you that?"

"Yeah, only a thousand times," Jeff murmured to himself and Eddie arched an eyebrow at him.

"But we didn't believe you. The first week here you both acted like you two weren't banging all summer." Dustin quietly fake vomited at that.

"Gross please don't say that allowed."

"We had to work a few things out but it's all done. Happy."

Chrissy walked me into the bathroom and we waited for Tessa to finish with the pad and tampon I gave her.

"So you're sitting with him now." She breathed and I nodded slowly.

"That ok?" Chrissy nodded quickly holding a hand to her chest.

"No no don't take me the wrong way. I'm glad you're making friends I could tell you weren't totally invested in the tables conversations."

"Yeah like Wayne and Jane. Who's gonna confess to who? Although my guess is someone else outside the pair in question." Chrissy giggled taking hold of my hand.

"I really think you two make the perfect couple but just be careful. My mum told Jason to watch out for you and if he knows about Eddie then." The bathroom door opened to Jane just as Tessa came out of her stall.

"Jason started a fight with the freak! Come on!"

"And here I thought Jane was a kind soul." We walked through back to the cafeteria seeing a teacher separated Jason and Eddie. Jason had a red mark across his face and held onto his arm, while Eddie was clenching onto his stomach.

"Jason detention. Munson go to the nurse's office."
